Dear All, Is anybody planning to attend EMS this weekend from the Gloucestershire/Wiltshire area? I am unable to get there and I have an Olympic item that I would like signed by Luke Campbell and James De Gale. I would use the great pre-order send in service but I need to guarantee that the item is back with me as I am due to meet Victoria Pendleton the following week and want her to sign it also. I would be more than willing to contribute towards/pay for entry for someone if they were able to help. Thanks in advance, Jason

I met Paul at another event a couple of years ago and came away feeling disappointed with my 30 seconds with a guy I idolised. Although he was signing shirts then, he barely acknowledged your presence and even talked on his mobile whilst signing for some young children. Despite this I was planning on meeting him today, hoping that he was in a better place than before and that my last experience would be wiped from my memories - unfortunately he had already gone by the time I got to MK!!! I genuinely wish Paul the very best and hope one day he can attend this kind of event and enjoy it. Never meet your heroes they say, this can be sound advice but in my experience the good times far outweigh the odd negative one. Isn't this what makes this hobby the interesting and varied one that we all know and love? Jason

Just a quick question - will Showmasters have any items signed by today's guests for sale at the show tomorrow?? I couldn't get there today and would have loved Carl Froch and Ken BUchanan signed gloves. My own fault as I should have pre-ordered but if there were any available (and not hideously marked up by a dealer) I would definitely be interested. Thanks, Jason

Ed Mitchell is showing on his website that he is appearing at Autographica this year - is this confirmed?? I for one hope it is happening. Jason

I think I am at the other end of the spectrum to most of you guys. This was my first Autographica and I can safely say it will not be my last. The atmosphere, the location and the calibre of guests were far superior to any event that I have attended in the past, there is definitely a place for Collectormania's and LFCC's but what a refreshing show Autographica is!!! The guests I met were:- Nigel Planer - polite and friendly. Gerry Griffen - a pleasure to meet, intelligent and delightful. Fred Haise - he blew me away, bright as a button and willing to chat. I will be the first to admit that I do not have the first idea of the hard work required to organise such a show but I would like to place on record my gratitude to those that make these shows possible. I have only been collecting for 5 years or so and find the hobby the enjoyable and inspiring - the 'do anything interesting over the weekend' conversation on a Monday morning at work was priceless today, 'Well, actually I met the Apollo XIII LMP, Fred Haise and he signed my copy of the Evening News from April 14th 1970!!!'. Superb!!! I hope these shows continue to be well supported and the style and mix of guest continues to be so strong. Roll on the next show and if I may I would like to request Jim Lovell and Gene Kranz. Thanks, Jason

I hope that the discount for getting everyone is substantial - at £10 each that's £200 without even thinking about the other guests. Add to this the Star Wars guests at LFCC and it is going to be an expensive year!!!

Good guest - his charity 'The Willow Foundation' does great things - even if you don't want an autograph from Bob go and see him and give a donation to this worthy cause.

If you could get Haise and Lovell to come aswell then that would be fantastic!!!!

Quality - the whole young ones gang would be amazing - loads of comedians appeared in cameo roles on the two series who could make great guests also. 'Have we got a video?' - Comic genius!!

Great guest - is there any chance of her bringing her daughter and son in law with her???
