  1. Who was the guy with a blood stained white t-shirt and a hand puppet of a daemonic bunny with a giant mouth he could open and blood-stained jagged teeth? He kept going up to people and showing them his bunny, around the LOTR people in the afternoon of the saturday. The only evil bunny we could think of was from monty python, but he wasnt dressed as a knight or anything. Thanks if any of you can help!
  2. Sure, the_spikey_haired_freak@hotmail.com (i've had it since i was 13 lol). Talking to alot of people at the moment so sorry if i'm not very talkative!
  3. Indeed it was! Thanks, you looked nice in the purple dress too. My hair was a mess, and my boots wernt brilliant, but it was my first attempt at costuming and i was really pleased with it, cant wait to do some more!
  4. That was possibly my friend Alex, was it this obi-wan by any chance? http://www.geocities.com/sith_otor/collect...ctamania007.jpg ---Just fixed the link. not his best photo btw lol
  5. Just a thought: To those people who were annoyed that you couldnt meet guests without getting an autograph, and to those that say they prefer photos, what would you say if: SM charged something like £5 for a meet/photo and then the same as they have been doing for Autographs with a free photo oppurtunity included? Personally, and i know a few of you would prefer a meet and a photo to an autograph, would this work? I mean you can't exactly sell a photo of you meeting someone famous on ebay for nearly as much as you can sell an autograph for so the smaller charge is fair. It's just for me, people like nicholas brendan just seemed to have a money making scheme and nothing else going on, you might as well have bought his auto off ebay for the amount of conversing you had with him. Just a thought! I would much rather spend £50 meeting 10 guests than meeting only 2 or 3 and getting an auto.
  6. I'm afraid these are the only half-decent photos i have as we had the wrong memory card in the digital camera, so we could only have a measly 20 photos on it which was mostly taken up by guests. But this is us (minus the unfinished leia who was taking the photo) with the truely awesome Red Guard and Sandperson. http://www.geocities.com/sith_otor/collect...ctamania007.jpg And this is me at the truely great place that is milton keaynes coachway at the end of the day (hair a mess in both photos lol). http://www.geocities.com/sith_otor/collect...ctamania014.jpg I was pleased with the whole costume except for my boots (which at 1 in the morning had to be changed to just shoes with leather sleeves around my legs above them) and my hair was a total mess! lol not that sith should really be bothered about how they look! I still have the whole costume and i'm currently trying to get hold of some better boots, i've heard riding boots look good, so i'm just waiting for another excuse to dress up! Good luck with those tails!
  7. Sweeet! Twi'leks are hard to do, you'll have to construct the headpiece somehow wont you? If you check this site, http://www.padawansguide.com, and scroll down on the main page through the news posts, there is an article on somebody making a headpiece for Aayla Secura with details about how they made the headpiece. Just thought it might be useful! --- Sith of the old Republic
  8. Your Leia Costume was amazing!, it really is a shame you didnt get to meet carrie, she was incredibly friendly to me. Where did you get your blaster from? Or did you make it? LOL we were all confused as to whether it was Lando or Han, we decided that he must be Han as he had Han's boots, but his dark skin and moustache REALLY didnt help him to NOT look like Lando! And the stormtroopers that were in your posse were also fantastic! Did you happen to see the lonely stormtrooper who wasn't part of your crew walking around? He was a cool guy! I was the sith walking around with Obi-Wan from the OT, Barriss Offee from EP.II and a half finished Leia. Again, i loved your leia! The belt was perfect! As was the rest.
  9. Definatley! Luke be a jedi tonightttttttt
  10. There is a park and ride service from the coachway which we are getting, all be it at 9am and not 5!
  11. Seeesh with the long signitures, you dont make reading this thread easy, do you guys? Anyway, Me and my friends are going all out on Star wars: I'm going as a non-descript Sith (i'm a huge fan of KotoR) My friend is going as Alec Guiness Obi-wan kenobi (although i dont think he will change his face to look old) My sister is going as a Jedi, with a long black cloak and dress (like Barriss Offee and Luminara Unduli from ep. II) witha greened tatooed face And my girlfriend is going as Princess Leia (Her first white dress costume, not Jaba slave to my sick-fanboy dissapointment We opted for tacky toy lightsabers as appose to decent looking metal ones just so we could have fights! I'll be cutting down the little punk 13 year old jedi that posted in this thread with my curved hilt lightsaber lol. And anakin skywalker (you TRAITOR OF THE DARK SIDE!). I can't wait to see everyone's costumes, especially the non LOTR ones (had my slice of that at the another show!). The x-men (and women) in particular sound amazing! See you on the saturday fangirls/boys!
