  1. Mmmm.. I know what you mean! I'd always thought he was fairly attractive -- but his gaze is positively yet gently seductive. *melt*
  2. Ouch! That's what happens when you're at a loud, boozy party. Yes, he did give me a lovely smile and looked me in the eyes when he did my autograph, too... melt! As for people looking like boyfriends... Danny Strong turned out unexpectedly to have a superficial resemblance to my current BF. DS is much, much fitter than I'd expected, with those long eyelashes and hairy chest -- he had his shirt half-unbuttoned when I got his autograph (which was considerate of him).
  3. I don't remember DB Woodside being in "24". Was he the one who'd killed David Palmer's daughter's rapist?
  4. Yes, he is very snoggable. Feel free to save the picture in your album, or whereever.
  5. This isn't from the party and maybe some of you already know and/or don't care: My mate asked Adam Busch if it is true he is dating Amber Benson and he said yes. He was very cool about it, didn't mind being asked such a cheeky question at all.
  6. Rel, so it was you who was dressed as Xena! May I say how fabulous you looked?
  7. This is me with Danny Strong and Adam Busch. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Jud.../AdamJudith.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Jud...JudithDanny.jpg
  8. I thought it was very well organised. I was just there on Saturday for a few autographs -- I didn't do any talks or the party -- but I'd like to thank Showmasters for an orderly, decorous event. The crew did a good job of keeping the queues in order and of trying to stop people blocking the gangways. I'd definitely go again.
  9. Here is one that I took (I have excised myself from the photo as I am not famous) Unfortunately it does not do him full justice: He is actually very attractive. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Jud...dithS/Danny.jpg
  10. Crikey, I think at that time, I will still be trying to get out of South London. I am a Convention Virgin: Next time, I'll be better organised! I will learn from my experiences. Mind you, I did get Alyson Hannigan's and Alexis Denisoff's autographs after seeing her in "When Harry Met Sally" -- didn't even have to wait long, really. She took perhaps 45 minutes to leave the theatre but then she hung around the stage door for quite a while, signing and posing for photos. Look out for the harrassed looking short person on the Saturday, probably in a green wrap-around top and white trousers!
  11. Thanks for your reassurance! I wish I was tall, like you!
  12. I'm quite happy to get up early: My problem is that I am very wee, so in any mad scramble for queue numbers/getting through the doorway, I am always a shovee rather than a shover! I wanted this to be a fun weekend, not a hassle!
  13. You are right: There is only so much the organisers can do if someone is popular. It's rather disappointing, though: I thought as long as I waited patiently, took my packed lunch and my comfy shoes, I would definitely get the autographs. I did not realise there was a limited number (possibly I failed to read the FAQ properly). It could be frustrating. I suppose the trick is not to expect too much.
  14. Oh, dear. This is not looking good. There are now going to be rail engineering works in South London on Sunday so it will take me ages to get to MK. Think I'd better go on Saturday either as well or instead.
  15. Thanks for your help. Maybe I should go twice then as the 1st train from London on the Sunday does not even arrive in MK until 9.30 am!
  16. Yes, mine arrived on Saturday, too, though I'd sent for them ages ago.
  17. "As long as a piece of string", you may be tempted to reply, but maybe some of you who have been before might be able to give me some idea. I ask because I am going to the Buffy Talk on the Sunday and am wondering if I will be able to fit in the talk and queue up for Xander and the Nerd Troika's autographs on the same day. I am toying with going up to MK on the Saturday, too, to make sure I get their autographs -- though going twice smacks of mad fandom and the failure to develop a real life!
  18. Thanks for all the comprehensive info. Think I'll walk to the centre -- but might need to get transport back with all my purchases... By the way, what the heck is this smiley meant to represent? Owl with a chainsaw?
  19. Do I take it that it's easy to get a bus from Milton Keynes central railway station to the town centre, and the Midsummer Centre is easy to find? It looks that way, but that Metro Bus web link's not very clear. Is it far to walk from the station to the centre for the able-bodied?
  20. Not sure where to post this question but cannot see an answer under FAQ: If someone is down as a guest, does that mean they are definitely going to be there for the whole of the three days? (What a way to earn a living!) I'd hate to trek to Milton Keynes on the wrong day. Thanks!
