  1. A pillow fight you say...I'm in. Bring your own or supplied without match winning additives...
  2. I've been to many of the previous CM's think I started around no6. Saturday was Ying & Yang Liked the Stadium, not been to a footy stad before so that was cool (as was the weather but you can't help that!) Thought the dude in his Joker getup was awesome. If you're reading well done. I wish I'd stopped and said it to you. Even had the manerisms down aswell. Also thought the dude in the Spidey outfit was top aswell, nice one. Also good to see the Imperial Garrison at the event as always - one of these days I'm gonna get my pic taken with you. Loved the Cylon walking around, first time I've noticed him at an event. Regarding the comments about the Manga free hug peeps, no probs, whatever floats ya boat- although I did get the feeling if I'd asked I may have crushed her (I'm a big lad) or got nicked (She was quite diminuitve) Lot's of guests, thankfully there was only one I wanted to see but the queue was Huuuuuuge so didn't bother. (It seemed logical to me) The dealer room was warm! I have read the trouble Showmasters have had with the organisation of this event so going to cut them the slack they deserve. Not something I'd want to do. I also appreciate the trouble they had with Centre MK, the space alotted wasn't really enough for all the guests although the dealers may have felt a pinch with less passing (ooh what's going on here) trade. Win some lose some. /shrug However I am supprised at 150+ dealers unless there was another room I didn't go to. I looked at the map on a wall an there appeared to be one room which felt like a total of 70 dealers in the room and the outskirts by the stad seating. My mate and I did the dealer room and the surounding area twice very quickly. Shortest time I had spent at a CM event. As I say, a perception not a major criticism. An observation I made - the sporting guests looked rather lacking in visitors, don't know if it's a good idea having sporting people at a predomantly Movie / Sci Fi event. Before I get jumped it's an observation not a dig. Overall it was a pleasant day out. Just a shame new attendees wouldn't have seen Showmasters at their best, but all new venues will have teething problems specially with the problems explained in other threads. May the force be with you. Sith.
  3. The rudeness and arrogence of some people really winds me up.. this is why I normally go on a Friday. I was trying to get passed while crew were asking people nicely to move along. Would they...no, just stopped and gawped. Even the centre security were having no luck. This is why I think a seperate viewing area is required to keep walkways free.
  4. then the side would be crowded as hell. nope i think they should get another venue in MK somewhere. If the sides are busy then it can be easily managed and marshelled rather than blocking access points to the queues and walkways.
  5. How about Alex Ross for LFACC2. One of the most well known comic artists in time.
  6. I can see you point. What if the sides were open, just the entrance to the queues closed of. That way you could get to the queues easily and it wouldn't block the paths through.
  7. Less guests or organised in to a seperate area. The stalls need to be further apart to allow for larger isles. The Showmasters Stand should be moved. It was chaos trying to pass that with the signer queues the otherside. It became gridlocked. Maybe the guests should be blanked off entirely so onlookers can't concregate. eg, You can't see the guests unless you are queueing. The grey hoarding that is behind the guests should be placed in fron aswell. Blocks the guest from onlookers and people who want an auto go through a door. I also agree that there should be pre signed Auto's available from the guests. It was so busy I only bothered to get BDW. Would have seen Verne, but got so pissed off with other people I legged it.
  8. It was on Staurday. I'm 6'4 heavy build and had a T'Shirt with Animal written across it. (I'm quite noticeable.)
  9. I lost count of the amount of times I turned around only to see Xena standing next to me or a few feet away!
  10. Lesbian To be actively encouraged, when I have a Vid camera to hand
  11. Easy - Michael Keaton. There were others who played Batman????
  12. Billy Dee struck me like he wasn't firing on all cylinders. Slow to sign his name. He responses were slow in comming and stunted. I'm confused. Didn't bother with anyone else. Queues were too long or too long to wait. When I left Carrie Fisher was upto no 1000. She looked fed up aswell. Glad I didn't bother. Was going to go and see Mr Dorn and ask him to sign it with a quote from ST Next Gen 'I am not a merry man' but having read about his less than happy demeanor, I would probably have got smacked one!
