  1. I did a Press Photocall on Tuesday at the Playhouse Theatre with VAL KILMER and he seemed like a really decent guy. I know he was doing a job, but he had a very easy going nature about him - unlike what I'd been led to believe. His play does have 2 performances on Saturday as far as I'm aware, so his time on Saturday would be limited. He might be able to drop into Earls Court for a couple of hours in the morning or maybe 9am till noon. He should have Sunday free, but whether he needs some 'down time' after the play I dont know so he could maybe at least be there for half day on Sunday.
  2. At the next show, you could maybe take a look at the INCOGNITO COMICS Stall. They do 10"x8" rigid plastic wallets which are excellent for storing your signed photos and displaying them And Davey, flash your student card and you should get 10% of most consumables at Jessops
  3. Elvis's agent is the spotty high voiced kid with 200 stars on his badge Davey, I have wracked my brains to think of some witty retort to upstage you...but it's a Sunday and I've still got a gazillion photos to send out. Although that spotty kid you spoke about - I'm sure I've met him. He asked me if I wanted LARGE fries, but I suggested it would help me contact Elvis if I stuck with a MEDIUM... sorry
  4. Blimey, all this fuss about some 'niche' actor (or to put it another way 'small time') that I've never heard of. From a show I've never heard of. Probably a really nice guy and all that, but hey....the guy is coming isn't he? Its not like Showmasters have announced him as coming and never confirmed anying with his people, just to hook you all into showing up at Earls Court - then he is cancelled. Adam Baldwin is coming and no doubt hundreds of thousands of fans are beginning to start a queue for him already. Some people just love to stir things up just for the sake of it. Now if SMs announced that Elvis was definately attending (but probably only on the Sunday as he has a late shift at McDonalds on the Saturday)....mmmm then I'd be a wee bit sceptical. Although if anyone can book Elvis, Jason can...... Or so he tells me
  5. Hi No it was not me you were speaking to at the talk. To my knowledge (unless anyone turned up later after I'd left) there were just 3 photographers present at the talk. One guy was shooting for DREAMWATCH Magazine (or so he told me), the other was Rory Gilder - who I know - and of course, ME. KEITH
  6. Just to make one thing perfectly clear, you say ... >>you clearly were annoyed about as you didn't get any<< ....COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Why Showmasters have not - at this time - uploaded any photos of James Marsters, I do not know. It is entirely up to them which photos they wish to display on the website. But I can assure you that James was quite happy and relaxed about having photos taken by myself (as OFFICIAL Show photographer), but not in front of fans who he felt he would be showing disrepect to by singling out the Press to pose for. In addition there was plenty of opportunity for anyone at the talk on Sunday evening to get shots of him - many did, of course - including myself. Why your friends have been banned from this forum is not something I know the reasons for. Nothing to do with me. I can only assume that SMs must have other reasons as it certainly CANNOT be because your pals managed to sneak some pics of JM. In addition, 'DavidB' also managed to grab a nice one of James when he came to visit the LOTR guests on Sunday lunchtime.....that was posted in a diferent JM Photos thread in this forum. And I've not noticed David being dragged off kicking and screaming by his ankles for doing so....
  7. Ellie MSN Messenger - screentwo_uk@hotmail.com which amazingly is also an email addy too. I am stuck her on my PC for the next couple of hours as I'm busy editing the pics from 4 days of C7, plus last night's KOH Premiere KEITH
  8. Well, I am the one to 'blame' for the tie..... Christian is a lovely guy, but does not find it easy to smile 'naturally' for the camera. Well, he says so anyway! I'd shot a couple of pics of him on Saturday and also a group pic of the HP guys together. At the Party I grabbed him for a couple of pics with crew/fans etc. Spoke with him in the 'green room' that night and I said the next day, I'd do my best to get a nice 'natural' pic of him, as he is by now used to me photographing him. So, did a couple of pics on Sunday morning, but really I was aiming to get something 'slytherin' into the picture, so as I was around the centre I hoped I might bump into someone with a scarf. No chance - and anyway it was so hot in the centre on Sunday, I'm not sure I'd want to inflict wrapping a scarf around CC.....I'm not a sadist. But, coming back from doing some shots of the Dr Who people I almost literally bumped into a girl wearing a school uniform with slytherin tie. I ask her if I could borrow it - so I took her round to Christian, got him to put the tie on, took a few shots and because the girl (from Germany, I think) had helped I did a nice pic of her with CC too. I got 4 photos printed from that shoot and took them back to Christian later on. He definately had his 'naughty schoolboy' look in one of the shots! But he had a nice laugh with the photos - which I gave him. He is a really nice lad (I can call him a lad because he's the same age as my sons). One question I have for Film and TV companies. Christian is a good looking guy - he is a REAL CHARMER. Anyone that meets him will agree. He is polite, intelligent and easy to work with - so SOMEONE GIVE HIM A DECENT ACTING JOB. There is no way that this talented British actor should be sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring. Put him in a TV Spap and he will be HUGE. Put him in a decent TV Series and he will be HUGE. Give the guy a break. I think you ladies will all agree...yes? KEITH
  9. Jamie I just emailed you - check your mail K
  10. Thanks Christa, for you kind words. I am assuming I'm at MK over the weekend, I've heard nothing further from Jason or Mark, but I guess they - like me - are busy. The dates can be found from a variety of sources, but not always correct ones. In fact the date for Tom Cruise's WAR OF THE WORLDS is given on one website as being JULY 19th - dont be fooled.....the movie is released over here on July 1st - so not much point having a Premiere 3 weeks after it comes out! Anyway, I had the update tonight which confirmed venue, date and Mr Cruise's attendance (and no doubt his 3 hours walkabout/auto signing before hand) Cheers K
  11. no problem David..... ....and before anyone says it's "got nothing to do with Collectormania" - well I guess a lot of you that will be attending this weekend WILL be very interested in the dates. If not, ......
  12. I know that you've all got the date of MAY 16th etched firmly in your diaries for the STAR WARS EP 111 - REVENGE OF THE SITH Premiere......but here's a few more that will also interest a lot of you 23 May - Film Premiere of SIN CITY - At the Odeon West End Cinema, Leicester Square. 24 May - Film Premiere of HOUSE OF WAX. - At the Vue Cinema, Leicester Square. 12 Jun - Film Premiere of BATMAN BEGINS. - At the Odeon Leicester Square. 19 Jun - Film Premiere of THE WAR OF THE WORLDS. - At the Odeon, Leicester Square. 17 Jul - Film Premiere of CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - Cinema to be confirmed. 18 Jul - Film Premiere of THE FANTASTIC FOUR. - Cinema to be confirmed. ---- So after adding the date of LONDON FILM AND COMIC CON (25th/26th June) - there is PLENTY to look forward to in the 8 weeks from end of May til end of July ----
  13. There is, of course, NO PERFORMANCE of the play on the Sunday, so Mr Kilmer will have a free day.... ....maybe he'd like the oportunity to meet some fans that day?
  14. I'm guessing those that are out of the UK will fly in on Saturday or Sunday as they have a 'screening/premiere' in LA on Friday 29th, so...................... if Orly, David, Ridley, Jeremy are at a loose end with nothing to do and nowhere to go on Sunday May 1st, they could a spot of shopping in ....MILTON KEYNES and pop into C7 whilst there ????? Good idea or what?
  15. OK You Orly fans - this is the bit where you say "Thanks Keith"....I've just received a Press Release announcing that the European Premiere for the new movie KINGDOM OF HEAVEN will take place in London at the Empire, Leicester Square on Monday May 2. Guests to join - ORLANDO BLOOM, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis and Director Ridley Scott (and yes I know some of you are David Thewlis fans too) Guest arrivals will be from 7pm, so plenty of time for you to enjoy the final day of Collectormania then whizz off down to see Orly. KEITH
  16. He's actually also been in ROAD TO PERDITION and TOMB RAIDER, plus starring opposite Gwyneth Paltrow in SYLVIA. Nothing major really, so most public perceptions of him are pretty neutral. And probably will cost the Producers far less that the other names mentioned
  17. But sometimes my mind wanders and I think about 'alternative' castings..... So I would suggest GRAHAM NORTON as the next James Bond (or EDDIE IZZARD). OK Guys pick yourselves up off the floor.....but imagine it. Norton mincing his way through the movie, ignoring the girls and getting steamy with the rival agents. Saucy flirting with a new MISTER Moneypenny. You see the endless plot variations? And then for Doctor Who, how about also going the 'other way'....who says the Doctor has to be MALE, Why not cast a female Doctor Who? Again endless plot variations spring to mind - cast PAMELA ANDERSON and change the title to ...Doctor (w)HOOTERS! Or a cross-dressing timelord....LILY SAVAGE for Doctor Who - that would be so funny, you could change the title to Doctor HOOT
  18. Loads of names have been bandied about as to who will be the next 007 Bond - but it looks now that it's a 'done deal' and DANIEL CRAIG will be the new James Bond. I suppose its an understandable choice as you cannot really select someone who is really well known for another role - or who is a BIG name. That would rule out Ewan McGregor who would probably be a good choice for Bond. The role needs someone who can play SMOOTH/SOPHISTICATED, mixed with HARD-ASSED ACTION HERO, plus be able to do all those arduos BEDROOM SCENES, and most likely not be afraid to flash his bum. So Ewan would have had all those 3 down to a 'T'.... And probably Orly Bloom too....not sure about Clive Owen. He was absolute PANTZ in King Arthur, looking like he could not act his way out of a paper bag - and as 'action hero'....do me a favour! COLIN SALMON had been reported as being the first Black Bond, but no one knows him, so - for me - that counted him out. DANIEL CRAIG, is more of the 'baddy' than a Bond-type hero, as I see it. But he's done enough work so that people know who he is, so the 007 casting will only help his career (Owen apparently thought he will have too many other job offers after his Oscar nominations, to be able to have the time for Bond). I can see the logic in casting Daniel Craig - some women even think he's 'sexy' (although what their guide dogs think, I dont know), he can play hard, look sophisticated and whether he's good in 'bed' remains to be seen.... He could maybe fit both roles though as for some people he is definately Daniel....WHO?
  19. She does not look too bad from what I see..... http://cache.gettyimages.com/comp/52001611...21B2AC3A62513D3 And that pic was taken back at the GOLDEN GLOBES in January this year
  20. The filming for GOF should end in the next couple of weeks. Most of the cast will be looking forward to the time off. There may be the need for one or two of the MAIN Cast to do odd days to re-shoot, but come the end of March, the movie will be in post-production in order to get it ready for it's scheduled release date at the end of this year. So....any reason why the cast cannot attend C7, LFACC 2 or indeed any other Conventions, will not be down to filming commitments.
  21. I know my post here is waaaay late on this subject, but hey....I've been busy. I was in the Press photo pen for the BAFTAS and I can tell you that sardines have it way too cushty compared to us on that day. Shooting the celebs, with elbows, other peoples flashes etc all in the ay and standing on a 5 step ladder IN THE WIND (it blew the hoarding down behind us THREE TIMES!) Anyway, those of you expecting Johnny Depp - well he never was going to show as he was not expected at all. Emma Watson looked very much like a 'rabbit in headlights' that evening, so many flashes going off and people calling to her. Sienna Miller was as gorgeous as ever, but so flaky....Reluctantly posed for literally seconds, before putting her coat back on and complaining it was cold! Cate Blanchett had been out the previous evening for the Pre Baftas party, so it was a second chance to get pics of her (and then last week at the Elle Style Awards there she was again) But there was really no GLAMOUR to get the hardened photographers pulses racing. Diane Kruger, Sienna, Cate, Gillian Anderson and Claudia Schiffer, oh yes plus the 'ever glam' ..SIMON PEGG He stopped from his posing, held his hand up...reached into his pocket for his own camera and took a picture of us taking HIS photo! Juliette Lewis was nuts, and Goldie Hawn turned up with hubby Kurt Russell (he was so great as Snake Plissken in Escape from New York) and was completely maaaaad. Clive Owen came with his wife, and his cohort from King Arthur, Hugh Dancy was with his girfriend too, but what is it with Leo? Di Caprio just does not have time for photographers. Absolute minimum amount of time the previous night at the Pre Baftas Party (and I'm not talking a**hole 'paps' here, but us, the official press guys there) and no interest at the Baftas either. I'm still trying to get a GOOD picture of him! Oh and just banging my own drum here - for anyone reading this in the US, the current issue of 'In Touch' mag has my photo of Angelina Jolie on the cover! KEITH PS - Alan Rickman was at the HOTEL RWANDA Premiere in London on Monday
  22. Jeff - I've just discovered a post from you on the forum about Kate Jackson. I have a photo of YOU With Kate that I said I'd email to you. I even put your email addess in a 'safe' place....so 'safe' that I lost it......oops Just send me an email to - photos@keithmayhew.co.uk - and I can send you the image along with the one I promised you with Margot from C6 KEITH
  23. Hi Jac - no sorry I didn't. Actually very sorry I did not because it looks like the camera likes you.... I did take a couple of Tom on Thursday night - both out in the photo shoot in the rain and another inside in the VIP room. He's still got his spots, but he's OK With them. I told him he does not need clearasil, I can 'photoshop' them out.
  24. Danielle - check your email for another pic
  25. Are you sure it was ME Danielle...? I remember taking some pics of various people, but from my memory all those have either had a copy emailed or got prints. And I dont recall taking any pics of Daniel L at the Party (did I ?) .....OOPS Just looked through my image file from the party and found a couple - I'll send you the best one. One of your friends has her eyes closed in both - must be dreaming. KEITH
