Hey guys, I ordered my Gold Pass on the 17th which isn't too long ago I know but as the shows next week, I'm a bit jittery. Who should I e-mail with my photo for the pass?

Movie sounds good but there's also the little matter of the European Cup final - Come on Barca!! A good night's craic could be had in the hotel after the match. And I'm teetotal as well! No doubt I'll have a genre T-Shirt of some sort on - Harry Potter after the Phelps photo op perhaps or BSG after the Michael Hogan one. Decisions, decisions...

Having just finished season 3 of Castle, I'd love to see some of the cast. Nathan Fillion is, of course, very fan and con friendly but the other cast, especially Stana Katic would be fantastic!!

Great seeing the Trek guests!!

I met him a number of years ago not long after his Voyager appearance and he was very pleasant. Nice one for us Trekkies!!.

Ultimately the lesson to be learned here is for Showmasters themselves. Rude people will be rude people, especially online but SM should have learned from the previous Big Guest Announcement that went belly-up. Just announce guests, let people take them or leave them, don't promise the moon and stars when some people will see it as anything but. People can get over excited, both positively and negatively but SM should be professional about their excitement at getting a certain guest and leave the public celebrating to the fans.

I've heard the whole 'can't do a con while I'm on the show' thing was invented by David Tennant so there may be no truth in it or reason to believe she's leaving the show.

I must admit; I'm more excited about this than the hotly anticipated Amazing Guest announced for LFCC, even though I've met him before. Great guy and a horror legend!

I said that as well but if it's someone truly amazing who I may not get the chance to meet again, I might have to call in some favours, do some tap dancing, pull some strings and get there.

No matter how far I stretch my imagination, I can't call Alice in Wonderland Sci-Fi. Glover would be great though. Oh well, not long now. I'm gonna go with Karl Urban who I think was supposed to appear before (don't think he did though, but I may be wrong)) - A Star Trek '09 guest would be awesome.

Hey Zebredy, sorry, haven't been on here in a while. I got the glass cabinets in Argos. I'm not sure if they still have those exact ones but they usually have something similar. And the room is so clean because I don't have kids!! A good dusting every now and then does it!

Always thought she was really beautiful in 'Trek'. Sadly, she's only there on Sunday!! Oh well, maybe some other time.

Hey AutoBot, thanks for the comments. I believe in showing off my collection and allowing people to see it, pick it up, play with it, whatever. It's more fun that way. Probably the strangest and most irreplaceable piece can be seen in the photo of the Bat'leth. You see the silver stand on the right side of the picture, the second shelf? There's a 7-Up can there behind the Hallmark ornaments. I got that can from the vending machine beside the Bridge set of Voyager in Paramount. I know someone who worked on the show and we were guests for a days filming, the episode was 'Prophecy' from season 7. One of the best days of my life!! I've been collecting for around 36 years and it takes up a full room in my house. And, yeah, I'm on Trek BBS!! Thanks for this thread; always good to talk Trek collecting :)

Quick question - I want to buy an early bird ticket for Saturday 27th. Problem is, I'm gonna be out of the country from this Sunday and will be going to the show before returning home again so won't be able to pick up the ticket if it is sent out to my home address. Can I pick it up on the morning of the 27th with an e-mail confirmation or such like? Thanks.
