there was a little bit of info jason said that now there will probably be no issues re: the strike. he said alot of 'A-list guests' were interested but couldn't do it. and this time instead of setting a date and then getting guests, they probably will find out when some 'bigger' characters can attend and base the event around that anyone know about the discount jason mentioned in the opening ceremony? ...did i imagine that

i understand you can't control the issues with the guests. that was because of the writers strike...you couldn't help that but lockdown is in 12 days 2 months before eclipse, a full schedhule of events was set up. about a month before, special photoshoot backgrounds were announced, and so was the 'timeline room' we were given info about how the talks would work and how the seating would be set up eclipse was all set 12 days before. so far, nothing like this has been announced like i said, its not your fault there have been issues with actors, but it just feels like more could have been done im sure you guys are putting effort in....but when will we hear about a new update?

bring cd's. at eclipse it was exactly the same music both nights. stuff like steps, and some star trekkin song. people will have a nicer time if we bring cds

autographs are free. you have to pay for a photo with a guest, but then when you receive your photo you can get it signed for free (one free sig from each guest) the 8x10s are free

I think Greg Grunberg would be a great guest Best known for Alias and Heroes...but he was the pilot of 815 If my memory is right, he has appeared in 3 episodes. This may not sound good enough for a lost con, but Yemi has only been in 3 episodes. Marvin Candle has only appeared through 3 dharma videos. With all due respect to showmasters and the guests, this con isnt about main stars anymore. I realise this is beyond Massive Event's control, because of filming issues. But Greg won't start filming Heroes until may 3rd. I don't think he'd be involved in another project just a month before, so he could be free. I really think Grunny would be a quality guest, it's well known he is great with fans Think about it Jase & Mark. Thats all i ask

...oh sh*t well obviously this sucks, but to be honest, i think the weekend can still be great. At eclipse, alot of people would say Jessalyn Gilsig was one of the best guests, even though she was only on the show for 3 episodes. It's not about how major they are on the show. Lets just be happy about the good things. We have 4 guests going We still get to go and have a decent weekend out with mates And Jason got his flag back

im not saying they were upset about being asked for pictures. i'm just saying they may have been a bit more reluctant to stay if they thought they would be begged for pics until 2am

I have a room booked in the travelodge for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night But on sunday at eclipse, i booked a room at the park inn, because it will work out cheaper for us (none of my friends drive, so its because of taxi fares) And because i got some 'saver rate' thing with travelodge, i can't get a refund. so if anyone wants to stay in the room, just let me know its a family room and it sleeps 4. I paid £87 for the 3 nights, so make me an offer if you're interested FYI, there is only 1 room left at the park inn. its business class double room, £70 a night.

hi guys i went to eclipse this weekend, and on the saturday night, some of the guests came down to the party. i missed the start, and when i showed up, noah (micah) and jessalyn (meredith) were the only ones left After a while, Noah's mum actually had to escort him out of the room because the fans wouldnt leave him alone Anyway, I was talking to a friend of mine who went to some buffy/angel thing, and apparently the event organizers said that if the guests came to the parties, the fans were banned from asking them for free pics and autographs. because of this, the guests stayed at the party all night Everyone probably wants a free pic, but IMO i think we should have a similar rule. If we ban the mobbing of guests at the parties, they may stay for longer. It'll be worth it when we see Henry doing the YMCA anyone else agree?

i was hoping for a casual lost reference, like the 'special thanks to the hanso foundation' from mission impossible 3 (JJ's last project) do you know what it said? its actually played backwards so you wouldnt notice it in the cinema. if you go on youtube you can find a reversed version where it says.... ok im not going to put it here. no spoilers search for it if you're interested
