So finally seen the new Suicide Squad. Didn't take much but it was better than the first one.
Not a great film by any shakes. And I'm going to say it was a bit meh. It was entertaining in parts, but that was about it.
Cant fault the actors. And unpopular opinion Harley Quinn is still an annoying character
But, but, but....... Peter Capaldi is in it

Apart from the fact this film has a wonderful performance by Peter Capaldi, on so many other levels it is far better than the original. It's funnier, more action packed and more gory. Definitely one of the best DC films in a long time. Top notch direction and fantastic cast. And did I mention Peter Capaldi is in it?

Same as me. And with Peter Davison and Janet Fielding, booking a duo photoshoot is on the radar. As that was my Tardis team growing up. (With Sarah Sutton/Mark Strickson)
Definitely interested in the duo photo shoot. Similar era for me as well.

Sorry if this has come up in a discussion somewhere else but do we know how photo shoots will work with social distancing?
Probably still too early to say. We still don't know what sort of restrictions will be in place by LFCC. ShowMasters will be governed by the regulations in place.

Peter Rabbit 2 - The Runaway. Not quite as good as the first film but very enjoyable nevertheless. Definitely has a wonderful feelgood factor. And it's great to be back in the cinema.
Overall 8.5/10

Amazing announcement. I'm planning on making this year the first time I'll do a Saturday at LFCC, and a diamond pass for Chris is definitely on the cards.
Well worth it. I was lucky enough to get him on VQ in 2019. Lovely guy.

I agree, it's a s***ty knock off of Hannibal that literally steals things directly from Hannibal and PCF should be ashamed of liking it. Go and watch the real thing you traitor!
Seriously though, I gave it a try as I do like murder/cop shows but I couldn't get in to it. I might give it another go at some point.I did wonder if it was a cheap version of Hannibal. Gives me another incentive to watch the original (it is on my favourites list just haven't got around to it yet).

Prodigal Son - It's taken me a while to get around to watching this but it was worth the wait. The main character, Malcolm, is a criminal profiler for the NYPD. He is also the son of a jailed serial killer called The Surgeon - a suitably creepy performance from Michael Sheen. It's a slow burner but get past the first few episodes then wow. Crime solving leading to a shocking conclusion to the series. Can't wait for series 2.
