  1. Never started a thread before so I thought I give it a try.

Last year we had the chance to have our photos taken from the Big Bang Theory set and the mighty Groot.

If you could pick and choose what would you love to see at this years LFCC?

I, for one would love to see the Iron Throne from Game Of Thrones.

Scully & Moulders ”Office” from The X-files”.

Talking of mobiles.  The connections at the venue are rubbish because there are thousands of people all trying to connect so don't rely on a connection for anything you need - if you choose to present your etickets on your phone make sure you have them downloaded.

Yeap, I am an iphone owner have them all in my ”wallet”. Fast and easy. I never used the wi-fi at the Olympia, was told it wasnt the best due to all who is trying to use it. For me, roaming and using the strongest mobile service works best if I have to go online of some reason.

@Chris1970 That my friend was an epic speech!;)

Epic? I dont know. :D Just sharing my experience. It helps alot to be prepared. I use my mobile alot at these events. With all information, tickets, maps, schedules and such. Take some time to make, but gives me something to do at my night shifts at work.  Plus it saves me from carrying around a ton of paper.

@Raylenth Ok thanks for this great advice I will be sure to check regularly ^_^

This question I’m not sure if anyone will be able to answer but I said I’d ask anyway, what is Peter like?

This goes for all guests. Just be polite, respect their wishes and like it is said earlier...they are just like me and you, have their ups and downs. Dont expect spending many seconds as there wont be time, there are many of us who wants to meet and greet their favourites. Just follow the instructions from the crew and my advice is also to look at what your fellow con visitor infront of you do, how they act. I learned alot from others. If there are restrictions you will be informed by signs and from the crew. I have never had a bad experience with a guest, most are as curious about you as you are about them. Some talk more than others. And never be afraid to ask, it never hurts to ask politely. There will be queues, take the chance to talk to others while waiting, makes time fly plus you will make new friends, remember we are all there of the same reason. And last..enjoy yourself! LFCC is a fantastic weekend, and Olympia is a great place and the crew is fantastic, always smiles and always helpful.

Anyways I would also like to add to my guest suggestions list:

    John Boyega (Star Wars)

Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean)

    Daisy Ridley (Star Wars)

    Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic)

I know these are a bit ambitious but I’ll keep dreaming!

    Ooh.. Daisy!

Because meanwhile years have passed and in 5 years things can change a lot. David would be way more than 20 pounds nowadays too.

And this is as far as this discussion goes please, such price discussions are not allowed here on the forum.

Plus the thread has kind of drifted away from guest suggestions.

No Chris, the crew dealing with issuing passes will not have any info on this.  You just need to keep an eye on Amber's queue and keep checking back.  The likelihood is that in my opinion you will probably be able to join her queue any time you want.  I don't think Amber is going to be massively busy so I think they will go to 'all diamonds' and to VQ's fairly quickly.

But the only people who will have any info on how her queue is doing on day and can advise you will be the crew manning her queue.

Thank you for the answer. ^_^

    Okay. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION.

The bit in the store about "select your day for photos and autographs" was an error. The day selection is FOR PHOTOS ONLY.

You will get your photo that day with Diamond Pass holders being called first. You can't simply show up another day, you must go to the photosession on the day you have selected at checkout.

For autographs the situation is unchanged. Diamond Passes being called first, in batches. You can go any time after your autograph batch was called, also the next day. Not all Diamond Passes may be seen the first day they are called for autographs.

Good to know! Thanks for making this clear.

Photo the day you booked for (Saturday in my case) and Auto when your D-pass number is called and anytime after, in my case either Sat or Sun, when it works best for me.

Will the person handling the D-pass numbers be able to tell if my turn for an Auto most likely happen on Sat or if I most likely should expect it to happen on Sunday? Just so I dont have to go back and forward now and then and bother them. :D

(I have D-pass for Amber Rose Revah, she is there Sat and Sun)

By the way I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who’s posted in this thread so far, as it’s the first thread I’ve created, so I appreciate it that people are commenting and enjoying it

Well, thank You! It is a great thread. So interesting to read who others are looking forward to meet. It is going to be a fantastic weekend in London. ^_^

Okay, I am serious now. Please stop discussing any Diamond Pass Days now until I have heard back from the office. The store now has the wording "select your day for photo AND AUTOGRAPH".

The whole procedure may have been changed and I didn't get the memo.

Fair enough, I have ”What not to be mention” - pass with Amber Rose Revah and she is there Sat and Sun, and so will I so no matter what I am fine, I selected Sat when I booked. Just as long as we know what to do I am happy as a lark. :D:P

Just to reiterate: the day selection for Diamond Passes is for your photo shoot only. As the others have already said, the activities are spread out over the weekend.

If you can attend one day only you may be missing a talk, and if that day is not Sunday you are possibly risking missing on an autograph because of the numbers being called in batches.

A Diamond Pass should never be used to get "fast track" to a guest. The crew will do their best, but this has limits.

So you cant save Photo shoot with a Diamond Pass Guest to Sunday if you have selected Saturday when you bought it? But Auto is either Saturday or Sunday, whenever it works best for you? Have I understood it correct?

Hi Atp, it may be only a case of bad phrasing but please mind how you describe the current line up as that is bordering on not being very nice.

On a different note the organisers are aware that the main cast of many of the biggest franchises would be a great hit.

Agree, We are all aware of that each of us have different preferences when it comes to guests and LFCC has always put up a fantastic line up. And this year is no different. If some of the guest/guests don't match your wishes, just move along. I can't see any point in commenting here if it does not fit your likings. There are those I will see (Auto, Talk or Photo) and there are those I won't, but I am a happy for those who are, it is their moment to meet a favourite.

Yes, the D passes for auto's covers the whole event that the guest is there (unless otherwise specified on rare occasions - MJF's were day specific as they had to keep tight control on how many he saw a day because of his illness).  Amber is there 3 days so if you have No 1 for example you can can join the queue at any point on any day.  They call 1 to.30, 1-60 and onwards not 1-20, 21-40, 41...ect  over the guests whole appearance so you won't be told 'sorry you should have been in the queue 2 hours ago'.  Amber isn't going to be massively busy so I imagine they will get to 'all diamonds' fairly quickly.  I hope that made sense?

They don't have a separate queue for Diamonds.  When you go up to join the queue you just show your diamond to the crew and they will tell you where to stand in main queue - they may try and slot you in or just ask you to join the back.

Thank you! That answered it all! Btw, this is my first Diamond. Do I pick up the pass at the ticket booth outside Olympia, remember I passed something like this last year.
