True. He has 2 Group E photo ops, probably one of those was supposed to be F. They'll fix it once it's brought to their attention. That is what I guess but panicked as jut spend the last hour writing out my plan of action for the days...I think I have to wait and do it Thursday evening as hopefully there won't be any changes from then onwards ><

So in the last hour or so there were changes made...I can't find Group F photo shoot with Andrew Scott for Saturday now...and the talk with Andrew has moved too.

I have finally got my suitcase out, it looks so small but costume first then worry about normal clothes he he I hate packing as I always feel I have forgotten something so have to check several times before heading out the door...

It was on the TVs at work and everyone else was wondering why I was grinning away to myself so much! Has anyone started packing in the vain hope it will make time go faster? Getting my case down from the loft today so I can see how much room I have in it after my costume...that is always packed first and then I make do for real clothes around it!

As I remember the Ibis hotels are not far from each other so maybe arrange to meet at the front of the building, both are at the 'front' of the building which is good as it is a long walk through the building to the other side ><

I have a HIM inspired tattoo, their music helped me through a bad time...I can't wait to see people's fandom t-shirts. I have a Jim quote one for if I decide not to wear my costume both days and I am currently trying to sew a Moriarty inspired design for another t-shirt for the evening. HIM are the major love of my life and have been for the last 12 years.. If I don't wear a Sherlock related shirt one of the days I'll probably be wearing a HIM shirt. :) Cool...another way to look out for you I think I need to start making a list for packing in my case because I getting excited already!

I have already checked over my costume, just got a few improvements and then it is ready. I am also possibly making myself a 'fan' t-shirt to wear on of the evenings too.

Yay *does happy crazy Jim dance* I am glad because it looks amazing and so much fun. I have always cosplayed for fun and meet new people, this is what this event is about having fun, celebrating a show we all love and finding more fans to share the love with so go for it!

My mum and I will be arriving around midday so we shall head for our hotel Ibis Style (or whatever it is called now) opposite the Excel centre then I think we head over to get our tickets and hang around for the preview. Not sure what we'll be wearing but I have my 'I am Sherlock' bag on me as it is good size for all my stuff ^^

MildGooveOn thank you for your kind words. I have to say that your Smauglock is awesome. I understand the worry of not being the perfect body-fit for a character but this is probably a once in a life time event so I would say go for it. Cosplay what you are comfortable in but I for one would love to see you I that costume and get photos with you.

jhw I'll tell my mum, she is so excited about going to the event as Sherlock in general is a love we both share unlike my love for Moriarty who she finds creepy. We both get a photo op with Andrew as part of our silver ticket so I went a little crazy that morning fangirling but it will be interesting when she has to meet him, I am sure Andrew will win her over though as he is such a lovely guy. I met him at the stage door when I saw him in Birdland, got a photo and autograph so I am looking forward to seeing him again.

I squealed when Jim appeared in that episode and my husband just turned at looked at me then said 'You should do that version of Jim?' It is one of my favourite costumes I have made and I had so much fun being 'crazy' Jim so I shall certainly be up for pics.

jhw oh my god that is so awesome, I doubt I shall be going to any of the parties but if you felt inspired to wear your costume for photos the next day I would love to see it and get pics with you! I am sure there will be other 'Mind Palace' Jims at the party if not you might see me around the event as I will probably wear it both days.

This is a brilliant idea for a thread as there seems to be a few people travelling far and alone, you guys rock to do this as I doubt I would be brave enough to go aboard to a con on my own. Anyway my name is Rachelle and I shall be attending with my mum (she is a little gutted that Martin isn't going to be there as she loves 'Poor John' but I am sure she will enjoy herself all the same. I have been a fan of Sherlock Holmes since I read the stories years ago and loved Rathbone and Brett before the BBC made Sherlock. I shall be getting ready by checking over my 'Mind Palace' Jim costume (worn it before, it was so much fun especially having a friend dressed as Irene leading me around by the chain he he) so I am hoping to find a few Sherlocks to get pictures with (and everyone else in costume too) and watching lots and lots of Sherlock. I am really excited, hoping to bring my Sherlock- Chronicles book to get signed by as many people as possible and got tickets to the talks by Andrew and Andrew and Mark as I am a huge Andrew Scott and Moriarty fan.

It would be awesome if we could meet up at get photos, Smauglock would be so cool and I can't resist a John jumper I am probably going to bring one costume (although I might pack my John one) which is 'Mind Palace' Jim as it was so much fun at this show Expo and very comfy too.

So is anyone going in costume as their favourite character and feel like meeting up for photos together?

Still no email so starting to worry...luckily I have a friend to email me the details but hope to get something before photo/talks ticket go on sale
