    So I'm guessing the clue is subtle. Is it someone that is literally big? Or someone that could be associated with the silhouette or question mark?

    That's how I used to think of it, but there doesn't seem to be any correlation between the calibre of the guest and the length of time they make us wait. The Scooby Doo guy came with a 1 week wait (I think that was him), yet Mads Mikkelsen was announced with no delay.

    What are the inclusive photos usually like? Will they be scenes from the show or more like headshots of the actor?

    Every time Rachel has been asked whether she's going to attend a UK con over the past few years, she's said she'd love to come if she was invited. Given her willingness, I don't get how it hasn't already happened. Please invite her! I'm sure she'd be a big draw.

    This is really good of you. I lost a lot of my excitement for the event when Jewel cancelled so it will be nice to get a few extras thrown in and Gary is a great addition. Just to make sure instead of assuming, is the guest list complete now or are you still working on possibly getting anyone else?

    Hope you're able to get some of the main GoT cast. My main wishes would be Natalie Dormer Maisie Williams Kit Harington Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Aidan Gillen Nathalie Emmanuel Rory McCann Emilia Clarke as a diamond guest would be amazing, but that's probably wishful thinking.

    I have no issue at all with the guest. It would be crazy for anyone to expect every announcement to appeal to them. My only gripe was SM making a pre-annoucement a whole week in advance. It led me, and I'm sure many others, to believe we'd be seeing a much bigger name.

    Happy for the people that want to meet him, but not someone I'm interested in. I'm not sure if this was really worthy of a whole week of suspense.

    It seems like they're spreading themselves too thinly now. I loved the Newcastle event a couple of years ago and it was easy for me to get to which was another bonus. I don't have any interest in going to this one at the moment though and also didn't go to the last one as the guest list just didn't appeal to me at all. I agree that the atmosphere is another thing to enjoy at the event, but for me that alone just doesn't make it worth the visit. Anyway, as this is a suggestions thread - I'd be happy with any decent Game of Thrones or Gotham guests.

    Some Gotham guests would be nice. First choice - Jessica Lucas. Then just whoever else you can get.

    I'm surprised you haven't convinced more Walking Dead guests to stick around for a week. Would be good to meet them at a SM event and pay reasonable prices.

    Have they said whether they're working on any more guests?

    A minor that puts me off a bit is not being allowed to pay a bit extra on top of your £10 autograph and photo vouchers. I think last year there were only 2 guests that were £10 and remember people saying they weren't allowed to get a more expensive one and pay the difference.

    Most of the other guests (like Bill Paxton and Michael Gambon) turned out to be really doable without a diamond pass as well. It'll depend on how many photoshoots Showmasters will organise for Ron Perlman. Oh that's good. I might just take my chances then and try to get a low VQ number.

    Awesome! Only issue is I don't actually want a diamond pass. But I don't want to end up with another Christopher Lloyd situation where I miss out. Argh, don't know what to do.

    I was hoping you'd bring her back. She was so nice this year. I definitely want to meet her again.
