  1. It goes without saying that Keifer Sutherland is hot property (inc Lost Boys etc) esp with a new film "Faking Lives" out soon. But, lets not forget the gorgeous being that is "Tony Almeda" (don't know his real name). Anyone who has been checking out 24 Part 3 and saw Thurs 26 episode will know why we should have a real fix of the man himself. Won't give it away incase some people haven't seen it yet! Also the guy who plays Chase is cute and I guess some of the 24 women could come to distract the C5 male attendees 24 is soooooooooooooo massive, can we really afford to leave it out??
  2. C Thomas Howell is hot. I loved The Outsiders esp the awesome poem he read at sunset "Nothing Gold Can Stay". He was in a late nite tv movie a few weeks ago where he was on the jury for the murder of a women he had an affair with! The Hitcher is prob his best film to date! I think he's an under-rated cutie and should be on our screens more
  3. Are you seriously coming over from Oz just for C5 or to visit family/friends? The Collectormania events are phenomenal but it's a massive journey to make! I'll be travelling to both events from the little Isle of Wight. At least I plan to make it to C5 if I can get into a hotel! London is an easy enough ferry & train route for me!
  4. Hey guys, what happened to the love for the Serkis? Please, please, bring Andy Serkis back I know he relishes these events because the fans prove what the Oscars ignore, that he is a highly talented and much loved actor! You could also bring back the gorgeous Corey Feldman! However, if you're looking for new faces, then consider these:- James Marsters - Buffy Paul Walker - Roadkill & 2 Fast 2 Furious Keifer Sutherland - Lost Boys & 24 Stuart Townsend - League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Hugh Jackman - X-Men Viggo Mortensen - LotR Sean Bean - LotR Patrick Swayze - Dirty Dancing & Ghost To meet Johnny Depp would be out of this world but I think he shys away from the attention and , lets face it, C5 would be swamped with his fans, most of whom would have no chance of getting anywhere near him! Those who succeeded would probably have less time in his presence than fans of Elijah get! I know James does the Buffy cons but they are so expensive just to get through the door so please Showmasters, work your charms and bring Spike to MK this May!!
  5. I'm booked at the Holiday Inn but my friend can't make it and now I'm stuck debating whether to go on my own (tragic for a twenty-something!). I've also invested in 2 tickets for the Sat 2 Towers talk which I don't want to miss! It's just the cost of hotels, travel, autographs etc, it all adds up!
  6. Paul Walker is by far one of the hottest actors around and any guys who diss him are just jealous of his unbelievably gorgeous looks, husky voice and acting prowess! Rusty's dare in Roadkill (aka Joyride) for PW and Steve Zahn to walk into a diner in the buff was B E A U tiful!! So are the C4 ladies in support of this request?
  7. So the word is that Elijah Wood will be at C4. His name is not up on the C4 list of guests, where is the confirmation of his impending attendance??
  8. Hey Houdinia You saucy minx, I take it that line is from a private film you're working on (in your mind!). If only Andy could read the minds of TSR members. The ultimate fav movie lines for me have to be the Gollum/Smeagol interaction - too much to write down though!
  9. Of course I was thinking "literally with him" but I guess it might be a slightly daunting thought for him!! I'm sure he would love the attention though! Houdinia, I do really think that it might be worth letting his agent see some of these posts so long as we don't over do it! The drink meet-up at next Collectormania sounds like a great idea! Are you a MK resident then? If so, I'd welcome any advice on living/working in MK, as I'm really keen to up sticks and give it a shot If you have any advice , you can always e-mail me at emmac_orion.fslife.co.uk to keep this purely on a Serkis theme!
  10. Hi TSR ladies! Thanks Houdinia for the membership! If you get enough members, maybe we can arrange "Serkis Ring: An Evening with Andy" (members only of course!). I wonder what Andy would think if he read these messages?? I am aware that "Deathwatch" will be out in June so I'll get ready to order. I'm should be getting a copy of Two Towers on dvd, through my letterbox next week! Looks like I'll be up most nights reliving it! I have to agree that 29 is a good time to stop marking birthdays although I keep telling people I'm 28 (looks like memory is shorting out already!). CM3 was such a blast, i'm considering a move to MK to be closer to the action and find a more exciting life!! I did wonder if Andy needs a nanny for his kids!! Sorry, I'm getting carried away again!
  11. Hi guys Just been having a quick lunchtime browse while at work and picked up on the "Serkis Ring" thing. Are there any age limits for applicants? As a 29yr old Serkis admirer, I wonder if there are any others my kinda age? It sure would be cool to meet up with like minded people!
  12. Houdinia, Thanks for that! I haven't seen Deathwatch yet but definately must check it out - sounds like a real eye opener! The fact Andy can be so sweet in real life and so twisted in films just emphasizes the huge talent that he possesses! I've just got 24 Hour Party People to watch and ordered Loop and Jolly Boys Last Stand to further develop my understanding of his acting ways!
  13. Andy Serkis is everything a real woman could wish for in a real man - wicked sense of humour, smouldering hot looks, charming personality and sooooooooooooo modest! Showmasters please bring him back for C4 so us Serkis ladies can live our fantasy (as far as reality permits!) some more! Thanks for the Among Giants tip-off!! I think the actors who play the darker characters are much more exciting anyway! I wonder, does Mrs Serkis realise just how damn lucky she is??? Can anyone tell me if Alan Bleasedale's adaptation of Oliver Twist is available on dvd coz I can't find it and I bet Andy's dead sexy as Sykes? I got lots of signed pics of Gollum but what I really want is some pictures of the dashing Mr Serkis to colour my walls? I was only able to go on Saturday but he seemed a touch impressed with my home-made Gollum t-shirt!! Serkis is the one actor to rule them all and the oscars owe him a monstrous apology for ignoring his talent!
  14. Andy Serkis was my main reason for attending the event and boy oh boy was he more than worth it!! He has got the cutest smile ever and he is the most gorgeous guy in every way, how I envy his wife!! The queue for Billy was out of control so I didn't get to meet him but frankly, I don't give a damn coz ANDY'S THE MAN! I so wanted to stay for another night and relish the moment again on Sunday but wasn't able to at such short notice however, if he's back for CM4, I will be checking in for 2-3 days!
  15. I totally agree that Henry Winkler (Fonz), Frank Oz (Yoda), Mark Hamill (Luke from Star Wars) should be considered. Also, when I was there on Saturday lots of people were wanting to see Dominic Monaghan so it would be good to get him for the next one, as well as the gifted Ian McKellen and Christopher Lee! My own suggestions for CM4 would have to include:- Hugh Jackman (Wolverine in X-Men 2) James Marsters (Spike in Buffy) Sean Bean (Boromir in LotR) Tom Hardy (Shinzon in ST:Nemesis) Big RESPECT to the guests for coping so well with the endless crowds and making each person feel special! The highlight of CM3 for me was meeting Andy Serkis and CM4 won't be the same without him so please bring him back!!! Furthermore, the actors such as Andy who play CGI/costumed characters could really do with having photos of themselves (in their human forms!) available for signing as well! Bring on CM4 and make it a goodun
  16. Hi Bright Star Thanks for your message. For some insane reason I am not permitted to send e-mails via this message board so the only way I could reply is to post another message and hope that you read it! I live in Ryde and work in Sandown, I'm guessing you have been to the IoW (only islanders tend to call it that!) before! What days are you attending the convention, we are travelling up on Friday and spending Saturday there? Hope you read this
  17. It has been a huge ambition of mine to meet the awesome talent that is Andy Serkis since watching Two Towers. Thank you Show Masters for making this ambition into a reality! Living on the Isle of Wight, we normally miss out on these opportunities but I'm just relieved that I read about it in time! The oscars missed the one star who truly deserved recognition for his work and the captivating voices of Gollum/Smeagol. I hope that Collectormania3 enables Andy to realise how much the fans admire him (that worth any oscar!). Andy is the only star for me but my friend is a huge Orlando Bloom fan and is dying to know if he will be making an appearance? See ya on Saturday and thanks once again
