Can we get Ken Marshall so I can get my Krull poster signed? So disappointed he missed LFCC. And Lysette Anthony as well please? Any chance of Alun Armstrong and Todd Carty too? After the recent Blu Ray release of Remo Williams-how about Fred Ward and Joel Grey?-they've been in so many things over the years-and Joel played Doc in Buffy for the fans too.

Although there is a well publicised antipathy between A Daniels and K Baker, I think a lot of it is down to A Daniels being a fairly private person. I met him and have to say he was a lovely man and couldn't be nicer. Whereas others have posted that he seems miserable and/or treated them poorly. I have to say K Baker could barely be bothered to speak to us on the occasion we met him. This obviously seems to be the reverse of a lot of people on this site. Sometimes this seems to me to be down to the attitude of the person-I think it's a bit like the mad old grannies who bash soap actors with their umbrellas because they play a villain-people are perhaps a bit too familiar with people they don't really know? I've heard other people say about the BO Bandits who want a photo cuddling up to the actor, and other people being offended if the star doesn't wish to do this or be kissed-passing on colds etc. I do remember hearing many years ago the reason A Daniels doesn't do SM events is because he was publicised to attend one without final agreement from his management. He was upset because if he did not attend he would be seen as letting his fans down even though no agreement to attend had been made. As SM do most of the events these days in the UK he then doesn't get much opportunity now. I do think a cast photo shoot would be great but would cost an absolute fortune to get!

Funny when you consider the original post and what a short time ago it was, how much the actual prices were for the 'high-end' stars this year! Not bitching about it-after all it's my choice to pay it if I so choose-and I did bite the bullet for Ian McDiarmid after selling a few bits on ebay to pay for it. But as the previous poster states-my wages haven't risen in accord with the prices!

I have a couple of autos from SM events from those who have now passed on; Pat Roach and Colin Higgins (Wrong Wedge) spring to mind. Managed to miss Michael Sheard and Peter Graves back in the day. Sadly lots of the original Star Wars and Raiders actors I would have liked have now shuffled off this mortal coil.

Hello, Long time attendee (back to the days of the Cheshunt Sci Fi Fairs)/First Time Postee. As perhaps one of your older (mid-40s) attendees, may I make a plea for some seating? Due to the long nature of the queues at this particular event, and the delayed Carrie Fisher shoot, we were there all day on Sunday whereas we would normally leave around lunch time. One thing I noticed was the lack of seating for people to have some lunch/rest after queuing/recover from the heat. There was a large amount of empty floorspace at the back of the hall not being used and a lot of people were sitting/squatting on a dirty concrete floor all over the place, which also made it difficult for those crossing the hall to get past. I know some seats were available in the talk areas (although awkward when the talks were actually on to sit in for a breather) and a precious few in the cafes, but a few benches would be a vast improvement. My only other gripe would be to open up the central concourse-maybe move the dealer stalls to the back so people don't have to squeeze past the stalls and those looking at stuff to enter or exit-there simply isn't enough floor space when it was as busy as last weekend-it seems like the dealer tables aren't nearly the draw they once were anyway-a lot of them this year were hugely overpriced, and they don't attract the attention of the autograph hunters-maybe there should be a central reception set back from the door and the guest tables lined around the outer walls, with queuing extending out? The big names could then still be towards the back with their privacy booths.
