  1. Anyone from The Wild Blue Yonder would be nice
  2. Thats what I mean, They had almost 60 years to play with (with a few gaps), they could have gone for a guest from every era to celebrate the anniversary, and left the specials alone until this year. Ah well, lets look forward to the riches coming our way this year
  3. If your thinking of the same show I am, then they were my first thought as well. Although Louise Jameson would be a big guest for either company to reasonably get, and I cant remember the last time I saw her at a convention, but then she has been working pretty solidly the last few years. Which for her is great, for us not so much. Given how popular Milton was last time they managed to get him to a show, I'm very surprised he hasn't done another in the last year
  4. More so than the last winter show, which is bizarre as that was so close to the 60th anniversary. I get that they couldnt really go for anyone from the specials, but there were 60 years of potential guests
  5. Well with the Season 15 Collection being released, there's another chance to build a themed selection of guests, maybe too soon for Spring, but maybe the summer or winter show
  6. Ah, my mistake, I mis-read what you wrote. But it is still bizarre they are only advertising the Collins King duo on his page
  7. Well, it's not looking good for announcements today, we do have some coming our way on thursday. Hopefully we'll get some Doctor Who guests
  8. Even on the guest days and prices page, they have it under Collins but not King, that is so bizarre. It does make you wonder if they have forgotten or if there is something more to come.
  9. They are, it's £50, but randomly they are advertising it on Collins page, but not Kings
  10. Coming back to the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy dual photoshoot. I see they both have a dual with Bonnie Langford. I'm surprised they don't do a trio photoshoot would make for something different
  11. Hope so, so we can bring a bit of cheer back again
  12. Yep, hopefully we have heard the last of them, when you stiff the fans it's bad enough, but to do that to the guests as well. all credibility goes out the window. Any guest will decide against attending or get all monies up front. And any fan will not prebook tickets as how can you trust them to run a show again. Also to add we are now three months down the line and they are yet to refund many people.
  13. No not LFCC, another show that is not in Wales
  14. You only need to check their cancellations for the show. A fair few guests complained on social media they had been ghosted, flights not booked or transport not arranged. So the guest list was decimated less than 24 hours before they were suppose to open. And no announcements, just sneaked some of them onto their website
  15. And not going to get drawn on this con honouring contracts after their November show.
  16. It was also morally wrong, for said guest not to honour his contract
  17. Well we dont have Catherine Tate, but we do have mad auntie Mels, Bonnie Langford was tonights announcement for Doctor Who
  18. If they do announce Catherine, and I hope they do, they might wait a week or so to avoid this weekend's show
  19. Might be too soon, but I wouldnt rule it out. We are getting some guest announcements tomorrow
  20. Unfortunately the minority seem to have the loudest voices and have been encouraged by certain politicians and media over the last few years
  21. The aftermath of Joseph Quinn was just plain crazy as well, where people who had no idea of what goes on at these events, were crying foul that their 'meet and greets' that they paid for were a conveyor belt of hi, photo and bye. They were under the impression that this would give them minutes to chat to him. Madness, and even when it was pointed out to them this is not what they were getting, were adamant they were in the right The thing is, I can understand why Brian was positioned next to Adrian, they would have been hoping that Andor fans would be after them both, but that didnt take into account, Adrian, had done Doctor Who, Harry Potter and more, so would have drawn those fans in as well.
  22. It's nice that they can get the recognition they deserve by doing these shows. It was a toss of the coin for me on what I got Richard E Grant, as I had the Diamond pass, and enough budget for one other item, A Withnail and I print was a definate, and will get Paul McGann on it when I get the chance. I should perhaps have gone the steelbock rather than my 500 year diary, as he is on the cover
  23. I was at the other show, and I was actually disappointed that he'd turned up at the other show, as I had seen the chatter the night before when he was announced, allegedly stemming from being told he couldnt change his price. I never saw a large queue for him. The other show should have refused to accept him as a guest
