  1. I was one of the suckers that Showmasters managed to get £5 out of for the programme, apparently after they cut the price to £1 they then started handing them out for free! It just topped off the feeling of being completely swindled by them. The actual content of the programme was interesting though and the £5 wasn't too bad considering how expensive some programmes are at other events/shows for less content. The lack of schedule and layout was a bit annoying though as that's the main reason we brought one, but I'm assuming they had to get them printed before it was confirmed? Also yes, would have been great to have some write ups on the smaller guests as well!
  2. Bit of a farce this turned out to be, me and many others had to pay £5 for the programme, only to find out later in the day they were being given out for free!
  3. They eventually turned up on the desk next to where you brought the programmes from (next to the silent auction). I spottted the numbers scibbled out on some A4 sheets of paper when I went past at around 5pm, not sure when they started appearing though!
  4. The program that was being sold was an interesting read (so far!), so that was a nice addition. The best part was the first talk on the main stage, everyones favourite Admiral from Battlestar Galactica was an absolute gem, before the talk started he came round and said hi to people, and the talk itself was fantastic, well worth the £15.
  5. Let me double check on this, but it should be okay. Actually I think you were the first one to ask about this, that's why it never came up. The emphasis for the FAQ was more on the "paid for" part of the talks. There's no swapping if you have a clash with a free talk tat you'd like to see. Oh I'd totally understand if it was a paid for talk and a free talk. Then it's your choice to go for the one you paid for or the one you didn't, not quite the same the same choice when they're both paid for though :) Thanks for checking this out for me!
  6. The last point in FAQ on the first page says: "3) If you have a clash between a paid for talk and a photo session ... This is the only kind of swap that will be allowed. It has to be a photosession and a paid for talk...." Does this also apply if you have two paid for talks clashing? The Jenna Colemen and Battlestar Galactica talks clash for me on Saturday, so I was hoping to the trade in the Jenna tickets at the sales desk and exchange them for the Doctor Who talk later in the day (and pay the extra £15 obviously!). Is this something I'm allowed to do? It seems a little unfair that if a paid for photo shoot and a paid for talk clash you have an alternate option, but if it's two paid for talks you don't!
