As has been already posted, clarification is being waited for on the movement between buildings.
Indeed, but maybe if another 53 people ask the exact same question over and over again an answer will magically appear?

Well, we who live not even remotely close to London (because, let's face it, only those who live there - or very close to it -will be able to go) or are not even from England, hope everyone will enjoy this so called "preview".
I live 200 miles north of London and im going so this is not specifically true it just requires planning and saving to be able to do it!!!
I think the point was specifically about the Sherlocked preview not the whole con itself. Any massive Sherlock fans who are desperately waiting for that event, but not already coming to this one, aren't going to be able to suddenly create plans to attend the preview.

when I smile it always feels out of place.
I think plenty of people feel that way.
I mean about themselves, not about you.

There is plenty of time for both LFCC and the world cup. I don't see what the fuss is about!
I have to disagree. there might be trouble with drunk football hooligans especially with us cosplaying.
Well, you can always choose to cosplay as a character with a baseballbat
or a gun!
Or just Cosplay as a drunk football hooligan.

Up here in Glasgow we are known for being very helpful but we get mocked for our accent so I always feel that sometimes when I go to another place and lets be honest England is another country, there is no UK, come September that will be a fact but I always watch what I say so that they understand me but you can't make people talk to you. I think with the English people and the same with the Welsh and Irish, they talk in their native tongue all the time but of course we get a lot of stick for it. If you come from Edinburgh or Fife it's fine. It's just Glasgow that gets all the fuss but then again we have personality, something that severely is lacking elsewhere in Scotland. I'd like to think for anyone travelling up here that if they asked for help that people in our city would be glad to help them.
I asked for help in Glasgow once. I was headbutted, injected with Heroin then deep fried.

Nate, did you see The Wind Rises during its UK release recently?
I agree Hayao Miyazaki would be a really good guest to meet at any UK show.
I have tickets for next Wednesday at my local independent cinema, or 'filmhouse' as it calls itself. It'll be the first Ghibli film I've seen on the big screen.
I'd be surprised if he ever comes over for a show - he's very old and surprisingly few people know who he is, considering he's the greatest animator of all time.

Sarah Louise Madison..................................SUN................................AUTO £10/PHOTO £10
Is Sarah doing a photoshoot? Her thread and the store suggest not.

Might be an idea to stick him in EC1 then everyone who wants to meet him can queue out there in the morning and everyone else who isn't coming for Stan can queue outside EC2 as normal.
I like this idea. A separate queue for those whose first thought upon entering is to get a Stan Lee VQ ticket. To stop people running and scrambling to find the right place, the queue is given the vq ticket as soon as they are allowed in the door.
Also, as I'm not after Stan's auto, it would make my early bird queue a lot shorter!
It would have to be very well signposted though. A use of barriers to funnel people into the right direction would be useful.

The last 10 or so photos of Gigi Edgley's Saturday shoot don't have the 'add to cart' option. One of them's me

I always smirk a little at threads like these, knowing that 99% of people are going to end up disappointed (I'm mean like that). But I've just had the idea that it could be my personal number one guest choice Hayao Miyazaki, and now I'm going to be the disappointed one.
Technically, he doesn't even work behind a camera.

Not a fan of creating inequality in photo pricing. There is always the choice not to offer them. Whilst a few hundred will be happy, another few hundred who may have got his auto now won't be able to get it...
Photoshoots are quicker so more people will now get photos than won't get autographs. Also, it will give his signing hand a rest - he would have had to take breaks every so often anyway.

You would think so wouldn't you ?
I emailed Showmasters about 2 months ago regarding Exhibiting Props and Costumes as I have a rather modest collection of Ashes to Ashes costumes from the BBC 1 program but I never got a reply
Not even a thanks but no thanks.I've now found out that if I want to do this I have to pay for a pitch which I wont do ! This info didn't come from Showmasters but from someone who has Exhibited before.
Shame really as I'm sure theres a fair few people who would like to see these and I'm the only one who can.
Oh well they've missed out there

Well that's the show ruined.

Thank you Minky. It's someone I have never come across.
From the sounds of things, most of the men in the 'Ladies of Sci-fi' talk had done exactly that.
-
Free talk tickets are usually available at the talk area
Thank you. Can I get these when I get there in the morning or are they given just before the talk?
They should be available first thing.

Does anyone know when the shop will be updated with tickets for the new guests added please?

Soon.

Showmasters shouldn't really taunt their customers for 3 months without a word.
In future, just keep it to yourselves, then when it's ready announce it as a complete surprise.
A complete surprise is better than taunting your customer base for 1/4 of the year!!!!
If they hadn't said anything, then announced it this close to the event, you'd have a bunch of people complaining that they had already booked tickets to the Saturday and finalised travel plans and asking why couldn't there have been some kind of warning.
The problems have just been caused by the delays in getting the whatever it is confirmed - which is for reasons none of us have a clue about (not even the mods). Whether they gave the warning or not, the organisers were in a bit of a no win position.

They do try to redress the balance between Saturday and Sunday attendance. Like, for example, purely hypothetically, promising something big for the Sunday only.

36 years of original Battlestar Galactica, just 1 year older than me.
35 years of Buck Rogers
Is this your subtle way of telling us you are Buck Rogers?

Great guest,
It would be so cool if we could get another ranger to go with him!!!
PINK ONE, PINK ONE, PINK ONE!
Or, you know, whatever. Not really fussed.

Bruce Campbell
If only.
The 'you'll never guess' steers me away from the usual type of guest. Think outside the box.
I'm going for Bungle from Rainbow.

Who would want to be flashed non-stop for 3 days?
That depends on who's doing the flashing.

Anyone looking to bid might want to check on the rules. I always understood a Silent Auction to be whoever places the highest bid pays the full amount of their bid. Not like eBay's proxy bidding system. Just something to think about for anyone looking to bid £1m!

What's happening in which building and entering LFCC!
in London Film and Comic Con 2014
Posted
Say (for ease of maths sake) there's exactly 1000 people who want both Stan Lee and Carrie Fisher VQ tickets, but only the first 500 end up getting fulfilled. If all VQ tickets are handed out together, you'll get 500 people getting both autographs, and 500 people getting neither. This way, all 1000 get one or the other.
That's the theory anyway, and I'd say this is the fairer way.
