Does it work pass midnight? If, for example, I want to go out to a pub (Are they even open pass midnight?) or return late from the party? Over here, for example public transportation is over by 00:30, so you need to take it under consideration.

When I visited Toronto my main mean of transportation was Public - and it worked great and on time (something I cannot say about the Israeli one, sadly).

Since the game appears to be more Indie than a commercial, I don't think the developers are going to put their own money to do so. But I do think they can try and display it with a local vendor who will present in the Event and try to get some extra buck from it. As for STO - as said in a previous post - it's not that minor. I have an account and I play it often. I know people who also play it and will attend the event. I don't think you should compare it to other MMO to find out it's relativistic popularity, but rather it's proportion in the general attendees population. I think you will find there at least 10-15% who play the game and also attend the event.

You can always rent a bike and use them to travel around. I've read that London is cyclist friendly. :)

Beyond the fact that most of the attendees in the event will be off-costume (and I guess also in the parties) - Most of the 'standard' fan uniforms sold on ebay and such are made in china, mostly from polyester. Try to wear it for a whole day - they are not very comfortable, they don't 'breathe' and cause you to sweat a lot. Bottom line - good for a short event, not as a regular wear. I'm going to get mine tailored, but I'm not going to put much money into it.

How is the public transportation in London?

I'm not sure if anyone of the guys over there is going to give any attention, but it would be nice if you could combine the bridge photo with this game, or let people use it for it when the photo-op is off. :)

Hello everyone, Since I will be probably travelling to the event by my own (attending all 3 days), I'm looking someone else in a similar status to spend the time with - to share accommodations, make plans, attend Talks and hang together.
