I reckon I might do a ring wraith costume, its something a bit different for me as I only usually make Star Wars costumes. If anyone needs any help or advice about costume building feel free to join my online costuming club. www.ukstarwarscostumingclub.tk don't take any notice that it just says star wars we've got guys with all sorts of costumes. We get invited to all sorts of events including film premiers, so its worth popping in every now and again to say hello. if there's enough interest in the LOTR costuming( or any other for that matter) I might even expand on that a little and have a page for you to post your costume pics on. cheers Daz

I know I've posted on a few of the other threads but I thought I'd start my own. I was one of the guys dressed in the Star Wars costumes on sunday. Neither of us took a camera, and we had our photo's taken loads of times. But no one will post any pics of us, surely someones got some. Darren

I know most of you are LOTR fans but I was one of the guys in the Star Wars costumes on the Sunday. We had a photo taken about 200 times but we never got any ourselves, if anyone has got pictures of us it would be great if you could post em or send em to blacksunuk@yahoo.com cheers Darren

Hi, I was the guy in the Star Wars Imperial Royal Guard costume on the Sunday and like the plank that Iam I managed to leave my force pike ( big long thing a bit like a fishing rod crossed betwwen a ski pole.) on the car park. What's that comment supposed to mean? Showmasters have stated time and time again that they have been negotiating with certain Star Wars actors who have never made convention appearances before. They have also indicated that they do not wish to have the same actors over and over again who have made many appearances over the years. I personally feel that this is a good thing. I'm as big a SW fan as you could find and I'd far rather have 30 non-Star Wars guests making their first UK appearances than 10 Star Wars actors who have been on the convention circuit for years. And for the guy complaining about having no cult TV guests... I'm really disapointed about the Star Wars situation. And as for the cult tv, I'm more into US cult tv. I'm sure Showmasters will come up with the goods. Black Sun

How many conventions has this guy pulled out of? Whats the deal with other Star Wars guests Showmasters? Although I'm a LOTR fan it seems like seems like Star Wars fans are being pushed out for this event. Also you've got no cult tv guests, we had David Soul, Lou Feringo but no one this time. I met Mr Daniels at a show and in my opinion he's a stuck up bosom. As for Billy Dee Williams and celebration II, I think people should remember how many people attend the celebration events, its a hundred times bigger than anything we have in this country and signing that many autographs would take its toll on anybody.
