  1. You meant for actual entry into the building right? No. There will be separate queues for the box office ie people collecting on the day. But there will be one queue for entry. Everyone will have tickets by then and it will be very fast entry. The only exception is the VIP and Platinums that will have a separate entry (like we usually do for our gold passes at SM shows) That's prefect thanks. Can't wait. See you there!
  2. Platinum Pass holders can join the captains queues at any time. But this only applies to the 5 Captains, all pass holders will need to get a VQ ticket for the other guests with the exception of VIP's. So the worst platinum will have queue will be 15-20 people for the captains at any time they're signing? So if I'm in at 2pm I can head straight to Bill Shatner before my 3pm photoshoot and get him done?! That plus the photos of the 5 captains on your preorder page has sent my excitement off the scale. Can't wait :) One last question - do platinum have a separate entry to get in promptly at 2pm or could I be thousands back?
  3. I'm happy with the price and I also think the logo makes these event specific which is fine. I've got a couple of extras for Bill Shatner to sign but apart from that I'll be buying about 16 photos for all the others I'm after. What I'd really like to see is the 5 captain print that'll be available and the dimensions as thats going to be the big item for most people. 5 captains on one great print. I haven't found many online and I'm hoping for something great there. Any chance of that please?
  4. Will the photos be the same as the CBS prints widely available on the Internet? And it will be great to see examples as soon as you can post them. Especially of any prints with all 5 captains shown.....
  5. It is very likely that it will be the same as the Gold Pass, and how I described it. The 'tickets' will be on the pass. Edit: I will try and get that confirmed though. Thank you. I guess what threw me is that I got 5 individual captain talk tickets and they're included in my package. But I guess they're doing more than one of those so they need to be specific whereas the parties and opening 5 captains talk are one offs...and should just be accessed with the platinum lanyard?
  6. I haven't got the pass just a voucher to exchange for it on the 19th...
  7. ?If it is the same as the Gold Pass, the are are no tickets as such. Look at your Platinum pass and on one side are markings for the various things. They will be punched when as you collect/take part/etc.
  8. I was delighted to get my platinum voucher, 7 photoshoot tickets and 5 individual captain talk tickets today. But I'd like to know when I receive my 5 captain talk ticket, 2 party tickets, bridge photoshoot ticket, and details of the stunt show and complimentary autos? I'm assuming this will all be provided when I exchange my voucher for my actual ticket but why did I get the five individual captain talk tickets today? An insert stating the outstanding items will be given on the day would have put my mind at rest if this is the case. I'm confused. Can someone help please???
  9. Any news on FIVE YEAR MISSION?! I'm listening to their music every day and would like to meet Mike and the guys to add to the excitement of DSTL. They really are GOOD!!!
  10. Five Year Mission would be amazing additions to DSTL for the parties. I've downloaded both their TOS albums from iTunes today. Pop/rock in the style of Weezer, instantly likeable music - all TOS related. Getting these guys would really make the parties rock!!! Please see what you can do :0)
  11. Star Trek is always good although after DSTL London not sure what could possibly top it and you would have to leave a sensible amount of time having cleaned us all in Oct! Aliens would be great but I'd only be interested with some big names in attendance... What I'd REALLY go for in a big way would be an Astronaut show. I enjoyed Autographica last Oct but It was only Edgar Mitchell and some shuttle Astros. I'm thinking more along the lines of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundations show at KSC in Nov. Literally dozens of heroes including loads from GEMINI and APOLLO as well as a selection of shuttle Astros...... I think your best shot would be if SM did an multi-con for JJ Abrahms shows which encompasses Lost, Fringe and Alcatraz I agree and was thinking the same. Maybe involve Trek too? 12. In terms of official merchandise to buy at the event - is it likely there will be a decent size print showing all 5 captains - the one on the news page of the site showing Bill in his TOS uniform would be perfect - that we can get signed as an amazing collectible. I'd rather have one piece signed than 5 separate photos. There seems to be a real lack of anything available online and would get over the whole licensing issue too if they were official. Maybe even a few to choose from? Whatever else is announced for the event, the big draw is all 5 captains....
  13. Given it's clear there's only 20 VIP tickets! Can you tell us if there's only a limited number of platinum tickets available? I appreciate from a business point of view you'd love as many people as possible to spend the extra £600 over the gold ticket but priority seating won't be too special if half of the attendees are platinum? I'm happy with my ticket and can't wait for October but it would be interesting to know please?
  14. Will official merchandise include a print of the 5 captains head shots as seen on the website. I'm sure a lot of fans would like to get all 5 autos on one amazing piece. And if more than one captain sign on one piece would the price go up? I.e some apollo astronauts charge ,ore for their signature if they sign on something already signed as it increases the pieces overall value. And if so how would any increase be charged to a platinum guest like me? Sorry for the multiple questions!!
  15. I have just received confirmation. One free autograph per Captain is included as part of the '5-Captains-in-person' Platinum package. Any additional autogrpahs that you require will need to be purchased separately. Regarding the maximum number of autographs that you can have from one guest, that is a decision which will be made on the day. It is down to a number of factors including how fast a guest signs, and how many attendees require an autograph. A limit may be put put in place to ensure that as many attendees as possible get at least one autograph. Hope that helps Yes thanks - pretty much as I figured. I'll probably mount the 5 captain 8x10s together as one piece - but I've got a treasured 1982 copy of the Star Trek Compendium I'd also like Bill to sign ;o)
  16. I was lucky enough to sit in Captain Picard's original chair used for the entire 7year run in the TV museum in Hollywood as they had the full bridge set there in 2006. So for that reason and the fact that TOS will always be my favourite Trek it has to be NCC-1701. 'no bloody A,B,C or D' as Scotty nicely put it in 'Relics'!!!
  17. Name: Neil Age: 39 (this is a 40th present for June) Travelling from: Reading, Berks - on own as my wife isn't into Trek and my boys are under 4 and too young but I'll be working on that in the next few years!! Ticket: Platinum Previous cons: Generations at the Royal Albert Hall '94 Favourite Trek: TOS by a mile - but like them all. Have been a fan of Trek since 1978 Favourite Actor/Actress: William Shatner Most wanted guest: William Shatner - I can't believe I'll finally get to meet Bill having followed all his work since Trek. Trek aside, Boston Legal is a brilliant series and he deserves his Emmys! Most wanted guest not announced: Leonard Nimoy - or JJ Abrams and the 2009 cast. Favourite movies: T2, Aliens, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Apollo 13, Jaws, Pulp Fiction, JFK, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Thirteen Days Favourite TV: From the Earth to the Moon, Frasier, The West Wing, Penn & Teller, The Prisoner, Mythbusters, Man vs Food, Columbo, Modern Family, Dexter, Alcatraz, The Office (UK), Extras, Sherlock Music: Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5, Stereophonics, Tears for Fears, Madonna Other Interests: NASA and the American space programme, especially Apollo and the Shuttle ( I have 10 astronaut autographs including Edgar Mitchell, Tom Jones and Bruce McCandless from Autographica last year), Reading Football Club, Wales Rugby Union, stand up comedy shows and relaxing with a book - preferably on holiday abroad!!
  18. The 5 captains makes this special enough to be a once in a lifetime event! But since you're asking: TOS - All of the remaining cast members as opportunites will start to decrease, and Nick Meyer - director of 2 of the top 3 Star Trek movies - Leonard Nimoy if he can be coaxed out of hiding! George Takei Walter Koenig Nichelle Nichols Nicholas Meyer Rick Berman Jonathan Frakes Brent Spiner John DeLancie Dwight Schultz Armin Shimmerman (for a joint talk with Rene) Rene Auberjonois (for a joint talk with Armin) Andrew Robinson William Sadler Alexander Siddig Brannon Braga Jolene Blalock Star Trek - 2009 - Surely an amazing - and timely - opportunity for JJ to promote next summers sequel?! JJ Abrams Chris Pine Zachary Quinto Karl Urban Simon Pegg Zoe Saldana John Cho Anton Yelchin Benedict Cumberpatch - Crossover appeal with the Sherlock fanbase - good for day ticket sales too! Top 5 picks out of this fairly long list? Leonard Nimoy George Takei Brent Spiner Rene Auberjonois + Armin Shimmerman JJ + 2009 cast Thanks for listening!!
  19. Me too! He's the ONLY true captain of the Enterprise!! (To be fair I can't wait to meet them all but Bill's the MAN!!) ;o)

  21. Hi guys, can you just clarify please - I've gone for the platinum ticket for guaranteed meets/autographs with the 5 captains and easiest access/ best seats in the house for the talks and events. Sounds like a daft question but the cost of the signed photo with each of them is included in the price? And if I wanted William Shatner to sign a book and additional poster - is that doable? Also, will there be an additional charge per autograph if they are signing a print with all 5 of them on? I'm hoping the answer is no given the cost of the ticket to begin with... I've been waiting for an event like this to come along but now it has. It's going to be a lot of fun ;o)
  22. That sounds awesome, I feel the same way, but can't afford the big ticket, so just the Saturday for me sounds like it'll be great :-) I've always dreamed about going to the big August convention in Las Vegas but with 2 boys under the age of 4 and a wife who's not into Trek that was always going to be a hard sell! But this is a heaven sent opportunity! I've followed everything Bill Shatner has done since getting into Trek (If you haven't seen Boston Legal - it's fantastic!) so a guaranteed meet up is just too good to pass up - and I've got every minute of all Trek on DVD so the other captains/guests are the icing on a very sweet cake!
  23. Count me in!!! I bought the platinum package at 1pm on Mon as I have always wanted to meet Bill Shatner and get a photo/autograph from him, an event with the 5 captains in London is unprecedented and as this seems like something I'll only do once - I wanted the best access and seats in the house and guaranteed hassle free autographs generally. A lot of people have said it's a lot to pay, and I agree, but I'm 40 in June, have been a huge Trek fan since the age of 6 so it's a belated birthday treat that my friends and family can help to pay for ;o) Hotel is booked and I cant wait.............
