Hiya! I'm the only Rizy on Facebook, so that's the easiest way to find me.

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you everyone for being so kind! I'm the TIA!Amy from the States whose accent kept slipping between American and vaguely British. I came to EMS alone and it was my first time cosplaying in the UK, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly and I had a blast.

HUZZAH! The darned wig came in at precisely the last possible moment (this EVENING), so I will be TIA Amy after all! Gah, I was so nervous about coming to a con *without* a cosplay, I've never done that before. xDD Plus I don't trust my hair not to mess up for the photoshoots; a wig is more manageable.

I may not be coming as Amy after all, as I only have two more days for my wig to come in... drat it all.

There is a separate application form for cosplay skits but no individual timeslot for them; would they take place in the masquerade or the talent show?

When will these competitions be?

I'm just hanging onto the hope that I'll meet someone friendly enough to let me watch it with them, haha.

Maybe this is an unreasonable idea, so feel free to shut me down... but thanks to so many Doctor Who guests, there are sure to be plenty of fans of the new series in attendance, and the finale of series 6 airs on (probably) 7pm on Saturday. Would it be feasible to maybe set up a room for fans to watch it together at the convention?

I have a question that's semi-related- I have to catch a bus Sunday evening back to Glasgow, so I was wondering, how late do things usually last?

That's kind of disappointing to hear. This is my first time going to an event like this and I was kind of hoping to be able to say something to each actor I have a shoot with- not a speech, just a few words letting them know how they've inspired me as an actor. I'm guessing I'm not even going to have the chance for that, then?

Hi there! I heard about the Media Show two days ago and am now throwing together a TIA Amy cosplay for both days. It's my first time cosplaying Doctor Who and also my first time cosplaying in the UK, so I'm really excited. edit: reversethepolarity, you should definitely do TIA Rory. ;D
