  1. My feedback is entirely positive, I thought the event was lovely and I liked the quieter, laidback vibe on Sunday which came as a pleasant surprise. Clearly Edward Furlong agreed because I saw him casually buying his breakfast by us, and much later in the day just chilling and checking out the event himself :) I admit that in terms of actual organised things I only had a David auto, David photo and sat through three talks so no idea how anything ran with any of the other guests (except Frances Barber and some others we met/saw very late in the day) but everything with David went incredibly smoothly. In the autos I was amazed how much time each of us got with him. The photos were very speedy of course but I understand why, but my actual picture is lovely and that's the main thing really :) I already had a ticket for the paid Doctor Who talk but due to hurting feet from the brutal early morning queuing (not complaining, it just left me very tired and achey ) I also watched the Star Trek and Classic Who talks before it as well. I didn't know some of the guests in each talk but thoroughly enjoyed them all the same! The guests were interesting, entertaining and often refreshingly honest as well (yes Paul McGann, I mean you). Also adored the new Who talk, despite the lack of Alex as Georgia was hilarious, Frances was very cool and Caitlin is a little legend in the making, her answers to fave Doctor and fave companion were classic! All in all totally enjoyable and excellently run :) Tis a shame positive posts just aren't as riveting as complaints - I always think I would love to write a good moan...but the day just went too smoothly!
  2. David was wonderful, I got to tell him about something that meant an incredible deal to me and the way in which he had inspired me which was the best I could have hoped for. He seems genuinely lovely and highly professional. I hope he does more events as he seemed to deal with it extremely well. From the event/organisation/staff side of things I thought his appearance at the show was handled so well and so smoothly. Everyone predicted chaos and it was actually very calm and easy - much kudos :)

  5. Still didn't receive anything and leaving for London tonight so just hoping I can use the ticket I have as there was no response since the 8th September

Have still not received an email about my query so getting worried - I will bring all my email correspondence and another £12 and even if I have to pay again I'm hoping I can still just exchange the ticket because I'm intending to get there as early as possible to try and get an autograph and I'm worried about losing my place because of a small mistake, hopefully it will all work out as I bought a photoshoot and am hoping to buy an auto too so it would be soul-destroying to have a problem over the entrance ticket
  7. Ok thank you just every worried because it is only a week away now. I will a print out of everything on the day anyway just to show I queried it straight away so didn't know what to do in between whilst waiting.

It was relating to an order placed with the online shop, I accidentally bought an earlybird entry ticket for the wrong day and I understand that tickets are non-ref/non-tran (have attended many times and crewed before too) but this was such an obvious honest mistake as the only other thing I bought was David's Sunday-only photoshoot I was wondering if there was any hope of using that ticket for Sunday? :/ In the time I waited after emailing my physical ticket for the Saturday arrived but there is no way I can attend on the Saturday plus I would still need a Sunday ticket anyway, and the earlybird tickets are no longer available to buy in advance so I'm now concerned. Like I say I realise the policy but I was just so excited about booking my David photo that I didn't notice clicking the wrong earlybird ticket

  11. I bought the photoshoot, but do we also need to pre-book autos or will these be available on the day?
  12. In my extreme excitement to book my David photoshoot I made a bit of a mistake with my order, who should I contact about this? *had a moment of fangirl blindness!*
