Thanks for letting us know Jason. Unfortunately with so many amazing guests that have demands of work commitments, it can't be helped that one or two may think they are going to make it and then in the end aren't able to. The good thing is that there are more marquee guests this weekend to still make it a fantastc con. Can I just ask, will we get e-mail confirmation of when the amount as refunded? As we would when the amount is refunded? As we would when the amount was debited? Thanks

Well after trying to organise a meet up, seems my wife and I have resorted to watching it on the portable TV in our hotel room. Never mind, I'm sure that it will be amazing and I can't wait to see if Steven Moffat manages to fool us all!

Ok perhaps a slightly stupid question now and apologies if this has been asked before....but I imagine (just a guess) David's photoshoot is split 1-500 and 500-1000 or roughly that over the two sessions. If I have a lower number (460ish) am I ok to go to the later shoot or is it strictly split into groups? Thanks in advance for your help and letting me off the daft question

Got mine and my wife's DT photoshoot tickets today, they're both 430+ and we both bought them about 2 hours after he was announced, so I imagine he's going to have one aching face after all those photo smiles! Fantastic work on getting such a great guest SM, can't wait for this event!

You should have revolted! Who wants football when Doctor Who is on? (My guessing is not a room full of Whovians). I imagine most pubs will be showing football or rugby......but maybe a hotel bar would be worth asking? As long as they have a big enough TV I'm sure they would be interested in upping their bar takings. Does anyone know any hotels in the area that have decent bar/lounge spaces? I know, just for example, that last year I was in Sports Cafe in central London and when we asked to watch the F1 they said they couldn't put it on because they had 200 Lithuanians coming in to watch the basketball.....so it could be the same, but someone could ask to watch the rugby and get the response 'Sorry mate, we've got 200 Whovians coming in to watch The Wedding of River Song.....

Hi all, Brand new to the Showmasters forums but long time Whovian and event attendee..... Being as this year's series finale for Doctor Who is on the same day as EMS, I wondered if any Doctor Who fans had plans to watch it as a group or for any kind of event? I know it is unlikely that the episode will be screened at EMS, what with the event closing before the screen time. Does anyone know of any meet ups going on in pubs or hotel bars in the area? If not would anyone be interested in doing that? Hundreds of Whovians in one place, seems a shame not to watch the finale together and share all of our probably very different opinions! If nothing going on already, I'd be happy to contact bars/hotels in the area to see if they would be interested in putting on a screening. It's late notice but with anything that would guarantee a large amount of people through the door and bar takings increasing, I'm sure somewhere would be willing to play host. So is anyone interested .....or is it a non-starter?
