  1. I wasn't even at the event, but having read con reports, I want the DVD to see what went on! Pleeease make one!
  2. Hoooray! Thankyou so much Showmasters! *boogies* ~Elven~
  3. Jack has the best lines! O'Neill: What now? Bra'tac: Now, we die. O'Neill: Well, that's a bad plan.
  4. Whilst I'm not involved with contracts, etc Michael Shanks and Chris Judge are both appearing at another UK event about 1 month after C6, so contracts quite often preclude them from appearing at another event organised by different people. Amanda is then appearing at various venues in Europe, including UK during November, so that probably rules her out. Teryl Rothery and Corin are also appearing at other things. Sorry to put a downer on your request, especially as I am a HUGE Stargate fan, but I just can't see SM getting any of the main cast for C6, now C7 maybe....... I'd be quite happy to see some of the lesser known actors from the show, such as (as someone else has requested): Anna-Louise Plowman Cliff Simon (Ba'al) David DeLuise Michael DeLuise Jolene Blalock (really not a fan of Enterprise, so if she's invited and attends, please can we have some Stargate photos?) Sam Jones Elizabeth Rosen (Jennifer Hailey) Katie Stuart (good X-Men crossover) Peter Wingfield (Highlander/X-Men crossover) Jill Teed (another X-Men crossover) Steve Makej (Col. Makepeace) Rob Lee (Maj. Pierce) Bill Dow (Dr. Lee) Tom McBeath (Maybourne) Dan Shea (Siler/stunt co-ordinator) Patrick McKenna (Felger) Michael Adamthwaite (Herak) Dean Stockwell (crossover for Quantum Leap amongst others) Whilst some of the above would only be of interest to hardcore SG-1 fans, some of them such as Dean Stockwell, Peter Wingfield and Sam Jones have been in so many other major sci-fi shows and would probably attract quite a lot of attention. Elaine Bring on the DeLuise's! While main cast would be great, I'd love to meet Dan Shea, Don S Davis, Gary Jones (Sgt Davis) and some of the writers/directors - Joe Mallozi and the others. Please SM, bring us Stargate guests! ~Elven~
  5. I think I was standing in front of you in the Craig Parker queue, and I have to say, I think that the whole star shaped glasses thing is such a great idea!
  6. C5 is so much fun this year! I've met Craig Parker and he's a really nice guy, and the whole atmosphere is a lot calmer and far more relaxed than C4. Go Showmasters!
  7. I dislike the whole Daniel vs Jonas debate as a rule, I don't think we should be made to like either one or the other more (hence, I'm not voting. ) I liked Daniel's character and when he died, although I found it sad, I really liked Jonas when he appeared. I thought it was very unfair that when Daniel returned, Jonas was basically kicked out as he was a very interesting character in his own right and I think if he'd been allowed to continue, it would have provided a new angle to the show.
  8. I'd love to meet him again, because when I met him the first time around, I hadn't seen him in any episodes and this time it'd be cooler. Unfortunately, I don't think i have the money to meet him again
  9. Plus, if you have too many 'major' guests for LOTR at the event, you get the situation that happened at C4, where it was really crowded and less enjoyable than C3. There were a lot of disappointed people who were unable to meet them, and I think it's better when there are less of the major guests because it's less likely to be as crowded. ~Elven~
  10. I had a dream once where I was wandering around MK, and I turned into Middleton Hall and C5 was going on, and I hadn't realised! I remember panicking that I had to get my friends there somehow otherwise we'd miss the whole event... I'd hate it if that were to really happen. ~Elven~
  11. I think that Showmasters have done their best with the guests already announced, they've got a nice variety going on. We have to remember that this isn't a LOTR fest. I think Brad Dourif is a great major guest and the others are cool too. Showmasters have hinted there might be another major LOTR guest but even if they don't manage to get one, I think we should thank them for who they have managed to get, they're doing a fantastic job. ~Elven~
  12. I want option number 2 to happen, although I'm not sure it will. But, I do know people who are shippers, but still enjoyed Chimera. So it is possible to ship and like that episode, lol. I liked The Warrior because it has Kirby Morrow in!
  13. I'm pretty sure that's implied Elvie dear... Well, i wouldn't want to assume... It could lead to much confusion!
  14. Very true, we can't really comment until all the guests have been announced, I guess, and apparently there are more to come... *is excited* It's nice to have an original film Matrix guest though. :)
  15. I totally agree. I'm all for Star Wars and Star Trek fans finally getting their chance to meet their favourite stars, but I think it makes it more interesting there is a larger range of fandoms. I personally can't wait to meet Craig Parker and Brad Dourif (nice one, SM) but I'd like to see a greater range of guests that would please everyone. But not to sound to ungrateful, well done for those that you have managed to get, there are some interesting names in there. And hooray for Corin!
  16. I don't think that there are any episodes that I really hate, there are some that I probably won't watch again because they didn't really interest me (the recap episodes) but there are none I hate. I can't think of my least favourites at the moment. I haven't seen every single episode, which is kind of a problem on this sort of thing....
  17. I liked Jonas, I think he gave a new perspective on things which made it quite interesting. Not to say I don't like Daniel too, I'm against the whole Daniel Vs Jonas thing. :)
  18. Are you a Sam/Jack shipper, surfy_sah?
  19. I haven't seen every single episode yet but out of the ones I have seen, my favourites are: Season 1: The Broca Divide, Solitudes Season 2: Holiday, 1969 Season 3: Urgo Season 4: Window of Opportunity / Beneath the Surface Season 5: Wormhole X-Treme! Season 6: The Changeling, The Other Guys Season 7: Fragile Balance, The Lost City pts 1+2, Grace There are so many that I do like, I can't list them all!
  20. Any Stargate guests would be great! Please get Teryl Rothery! Buffy and Alias would also be good! :) And naturally, I could never say no to LotR guests! (Although we do have a nice selection of those already.) *hopeful look*
  21. I borrowed the entire Season 7 off my friend last week, and watched it all. I thought it was great! (Although now I'll have to wait double the length of time for S8 since I don't have Sky.. ah well.) I really enjoyed Fragile Balance, Grace, Space Race and I loved the Season finale as well. I miss Jonas though, I'd have liked to see more of him in the series - maybe another guest starring. (Does anyone know if he's going to be in Season 8 at all?) I cried in Heroes. I'd managed to stay spoiler free until then and it came as such a surprise to find out who died.
  22. I have to agree with some people when you say that it's best not to have big stars at MK. I'd like to see some bigger ones, but not the likes of Elijah Wood again. I didn't get to meet him last time, and I was disappointed about that, but I found C4 generally far less enjoyable than C3. The previous convention was far more easy going with Billy Boyd, Andy Serkis and John Rhys Davies being the only major stars from the film. I agree that LFACC shouldn't get all the big stars though, since not everyone can make it to London and Collectormania, so to miss out just because you don't have the time or money to get there seems a little unfair. Although from all reports I've heard, LFACC was really well organised and perhaps a better environment for the huge stars. I like the guestlist so far this year, it's nice and varied - not too many huge stars - so it's more likely to attract the diehard fans.
  23. i didnt hear about that but i did hear he went to visit the LotR exhibition in london a short while ago...and if it was there then im hardly surprised it happened Yeah it was at the LoTR exhibition, he wanted to go see it, and suddenly people started to recognise him so he had to leave pretty sharpish, I think.
  24. Don S Davis Colin Cunningham Teryl Rothery Christopher Judge
  25. Stargate guests please!! And Alias (Michael Vartan, Jennifer Garner, David Anders, Greg Grunberg, Kevin Weissman, Lena Olin etc) And my friend would love to meet people from CSI!
