  1. Went with my little 9 year old brother today for my first LFCC but not my first con. Absolutely astounded at the crowds, never felt so claustrophobic. However we had a fantastic time, Cosplayers, bravo - I could barely stand the heat in civvies so god knows how they were coping. Karen is an absolutely amazing guest, extremely considerate with the youngling, and remembered him in the auto session after the shoot, which made his day. Mark Sheppard also, despite a large queue behind him, takes the time to talk to my brother about his football team, his best Who moments, and his own children of a simiar age. Sir Derek Jacobi - nothing less than an honour, and my brother was extremely nervous meeting him, however Mr. Jacobi took it in his stride and was extremely child-friendly. Funniest moment - attendee walks off after photo w/ Karen and Malcolm beckons him back for it to be redone, the crew member is dazing off and doesn't realise, rushes after him only to be reprimanded in front of everyone by Malcolm - "You - you need to stay awake!". Under her breath I distinctly saw "f**k sake - idiot" poor girl. Although for the no. of people i've heard rumoured to have appeared today (well in excess of 30k), Showmasters did a commendable job at organising, and with the funds they will most definitely gain from this weekend, I expect the same next year! Kudos all.
  2. The clever people will realise that those with the last VT's for Karen tomorrow will be the ones who stick in her mind more. I doubt entirely that unless the first customers of the day bathe in neon paint beforehand, they'll be forgotten by 12.
  3. TeeFury had a Who shirt on their $10 tee day, it's a tri-tone of all 11 Doctor's faces. Practically haven't taken it off since it arrived, and LFCC certainly won't be an exception!
  4. Hi guys, first time at LFCC this year despite going to numerous conventions previously. I have a photoshoot ticket for Karen - no. 150, however my 9 year old brother has no. 365. Does this mean we will have to be placed in the two seperate sessions? (reference to 1-300 - session 1 - 301+ - session 2 etc) Evidently as he's so young I don't want him to be on his own in a busy and confusing atmosphere as I know the photoshoots can be. Any help will be appreciated! Cheers, Alex
