  1. I am running CS5 and you can edit raw directly with Bridge and also in photoshop. The histogram is instantly avlaibale fo direct manipulation so you can adjust the "temperature" of the White balance. One tip however would be to get the WB right before you begin to correct other lighting (I.e. Exposure, recovery, black fill etc). If you keep the the image at 32 (or even 64bit) during any editing you can shift exposure during edit, it's a bit clunky though. Shame, I only had a 18-55 lens with me. Was traveling "light" to fit the camera stuff in my costume... The lighting for next years event at Olympia will be better, you get some natural light in there too so that will be a big help. EDIT: The pics I posted were uploaded via iPad and are not edited. I saw his, interesting, haircut on telly on Friday night. I nearly packed my clippers.
  2. http://s901.photobucket.com/albums/ac216/mat_splat/LFCC2011/ Wicked Fun day out with the wife. Was a bit surprised by the amount of people asking us for pictures, would be keen to get copies of them if anyone has any. Our First Con - Not our Last
  3. Thanks Tina, LFCC here we come :)
  4. Its me and my wife's first ever convention. I have always been a bit of a closet Stargate addict and whilst having a look through my US mates pictures of the last con he went to, the wife said we should try and find one. Truthfully, we don't really need much of a reason to dress up but it looks like we found a good excuse to indulge ourselves and have a giggle. Costumes, all be them fairly simple, are looking pretty bitchin right now. Really can't wait, should be loads of fun.
  5. Since I seem to have nack for asking silly questions... This me and my wife's first Convention. We are both coming in costume, but for obvious reasons, we can't walk the streets of London togged up like a pair of baddasses. We will have a holdall kit bag with us, with the less street friendly items in it until we are safe inside. Does anybody know if there is space to leave such a bag (the holdall not the wife )or, will I need to drag it around all day? Like I said probably a silly question, but one that could save us getting shot by over zealous Met Police. Thanks in advance
