Does anyone know if he does personalizations on autographs? I have some friends that were totally excited about meeting them, but due to a series of unfortunate events won't be able to attend now and I want to still get them an auto. Does he just write names on there or will he also write a small message? They have one particular quote from LOTR they want on the autograph if possible. Thanks in advance.

I have a personalised one with a message from a few years back.

 

I would suggest he's more likely to do it than not, but we can't guarantee it.

That's good enough for me! I shall just remain hopeful and positive that he will do me this solid! If not, no biggie!

He's always been one of the nicest and friendliest guests at any event :) all you can do is ask.

 

It's mainly time constraints if there's any issues but that can't be predicted, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Met him at the collectormania London and was only after I'd left his table that I realised he hadn't personalised it, whether he heard, I didn't speak loud enough I don't know, anyhow I couldn't go back as there was a queue so the next day I went back explained to the first crew member(there 3 in total I think) what the craic was and told just ask the one with him to make sure, they said "Haven't seen a thing" turned away and JRD was more than happy to sign it
