  1. Decided to get a pass for the Saturday, having to be careful till I get paid again but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity :-).
  2. I personally had a great time at the event, was there for 3 days and managed to meet everyone I wanted including getting my photoshoot with Stan but I did have a comic gold pass and without that I think it would have been hard to do this. In respect of the programmes that were been sold it could have been better organised, I asked a few Showmasters Crew on Friday where the numbers would be and no one could tell me and this was also the same on Saturday. As far as I'm aware the draw was going to be held each day and if no one claimed an item that day then it would go into the draw for the next day. Crew involved should have all known about the draw and where these numbers would be before the Friday when the convention started. I also thought there were too many passes this year, I had to give advice to a crew member re what a pass does (get on the end of any queue) apart from the Stan one which was slightly different. If people are going to crew they need to take an interest in it and also look at the Forum beforehand to see if any changes are happening. I checked the forum all the time and you did share some great information on there which otherwise I wouldn't have known. The Stan Lee VIP Meet and Greet did need to be better organised too, I thought the area was too small for the amount of people there and glad for Stan's health he didn't have to come to each table after he'd be signing and having photographs all day. It was definitely a better idea for him to be on stage but it's a shame as would have loved to have just say a thank you to him for what he's done over the years and bring so many wonderful characters to life. I remember on the Sunday morning for Ian McDermid people were getting virtual tickets for him and it looked like one big group just swarming round the poor lass trying to hand them out. Just want to say Too Tall came along and asked everyone to form a queue in order to get a vitural queue ticket, in these circumstances if you are handing out tickets you need to ask people to do that so at least there is some order. Apart from those things I had a great time and it's definitley a learning curve for everyone. I just made sure I was organised, got up early and I'm just glad I had the chance to meet Stan as if this hadn't been organised I would never had the chance to meet him so a big thank you for that.
  3. Franks Autographs also frame too in acid free materials, they don't use glass & the frame is lightweight. I've used them quite a few times & highly recommend them. Send Nick at Franks Autographs an e-mail with measurements of the photo & he can advise.
  4. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes would be good hosts for this event. Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes are in Manchester the week before as I'm seeing them, it's a possibility they might be there. Will have to wait to find out but looking forward to this :-)
  5. Well i've ordered the Gold Pass and a photo shoot for this one, really looking forward to this as stan is definitely a legend!. I've got an Ultimate Spider-man 1 White Variant edition signed by Bendis/Bagley so am thinking of getting Stan to sign this aswell :-). I've also got a Marvel Milestone Edition of Uncanny X-Men1 which is signed by Jack Kirby so I think I might just have to get that signed by Stan too ;-)
  6. And counting lol. i'm really looking forward to finding out who it is :-)
  7. Valtharen, I remember the photograph us three Freddy's had lol. This is the photograph :-) http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/i376/s...r0/DSCF4451.jpg
  8. Stevestar0: You were AWESOME as Freddy and I had my pic taken with you too, cool to see some of the shots you did with peepz and LOVE your pic with Robert... he's truly ace! EVERYONE: Great photos, thanks for sharing :0) Hi Draco, thanks for the AWESOME comment lol. Believe it or not I put that costume together within 1 week and got it before I even knew Robert Englund was going to be there. Once I found out he was I thought there was no way I was going to miss it! Quite a few people wanted a pic with me and I was happy to oblige, it was the first time I got dressed up at a Collectormania event but it was well worth it and it was also great putting a smile on people's faces. The pic with Robert is ace, talk about a role reversal for him lol. Plus it added a bit of humour, glad to share it on here :-)
  9. This is the bigger picture of me and Robert :-) Also got a couple of more good pics here too :-)
  10. I had a fantastic time on the Saturday and Sunday. Had a great photograph with Robert Englund. I was dressed as Freddy on the Saturday and had my photograph taken with quite a few people so check out my link below as you maybe on it :-) http://s1090.photobucket.com/albums/i376/s...tar0/?start=all
  11. I am sure there will be, several doctors, some Amy Ponds, couple of River Songs and some Captain Jacks. It would be lovely to all meet in one place at a certain time for a big photo luv in. Anyone up for that? I will bring a cloak and mask for anyone wanting to be Liz 10. I'm happy to do that, just come and grab me if you see me, don't think you will miss me as it sounds like i'm the only one wearing a Freddy Krueger costume lol
  12. I've met Robert before at a convention a few years ago. He was fantastic with the fans and must have spent about 5-6 mins with me. I'm really happy he's attending at I'll get chance to see him again and this time i'm getting my original Nightmare on Elm Street Poster signed by him. Also for the event i'm getting dressed up as Freddy on the Saturday and it is quite a realistic costume. Don't be scared too much :-P
