maybe i should explain more

when i get in where do i go does each guest have a different place to get a VQ ticket? and where abouts is the signing area?

The signing area is normally at the rear of the hall so when you go in, just head to the back. Sometimes we get a rough layout plan posted in the forum but it won't say exactly which guest is where. You have to go see who's where on the day.

 

Not all guests will be using VQ tickets but there will be a crew person at the end of each guests line handing out any tickets for that guest if they are. It's pretty obvious as other people will be getting them and the crew member will be holding a pile of tickets. So you have to go round and find each guest you want to meet and see if tickets are being handed out for them or not.

 

VQ tickets are guest and day specific so if you get one for Saturday but don't meet that guest you have to get a new ticket on Sunday.

 

It's quite straightforward and there will be crew around to ask if you're not sure.

Yes, the signing area is normally at the back of the hall and some guests have more of a booth, where the Crew Member will stand at the entrance handing out VQ tickets, but most are just sat in lines and some will have a more obvious entry point to a line where the Crew Member will stand next to the board where the put the VQ tickets numbers up and handout tickets from there. Others may not start with a VQ but it might get introduced if the guest was busier than expected.
