Kosh Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) Well, just got back from Dimensions half an hour ago (local boy) & I have to say that it was a very enjoyable con. Met some old friends (& got drunk with them!), made some new ones. Got what I wanted signed & spent too much as usual (especially in the auction!) & enjoyed watching WoM in the bar in the company of at least two dozen people. The only blot, was Richard Franklins, sadly, excruciating turn in the auction dressed as a public schoolboy singing 'Daddy wouldn't buy me a bow-wow'. I like the fella, but that was just awful to watch. In fact, I woke up on the Sunday morning coughing blood, but I was much more concerned that I couldn't get that damned song out of my head! As usual, well done & thank you to Derek & the crew for an enjoyable event, you deserve the praise guys. The hotel had the best staff I have come across in a while, nothing was too much trouble. If you are doing it again next year, please hold it in the same venue. You've got a winner there. Anything else (tales or whatever) anyone wants to add?
