I'm also sure they offer more than just expensive burgers and chips. Don't get me wrong it was good to see Leonard Nimoy. Could you guys also try to realisitcally estimate how long photoshoots will go for, learn when to stop taking photos so actors can return to their booths etc...is it really fair to keep other paid customers waiting an hour in a que. This is a very selfish and egocentric viewpoint. What about me? I don't like autographs. All I want is a photoshoot. You're basically saying that photoshoots are pointless and that they should turn people away in favour of doing autographs. I think you'll find that those of us who paid for a photoshoot have PAID MONEY, and are therefore paying customers... and therefore deserve his time JUST as much as you do. In fact, I think you'll find that while you're still waiting to go for Leonard's autograph, most of you won't be paying customers yet - whereas everyone with a photoshoot ticket IS a paying customer, and thus should have priority. And yes, there is a photoshoot timetable. It was posted online, days before the event, and was displayed at the event all weekend. Continue what you're doing, ignore the moaners and looking forward to next year's event and LFCC! Yes, continue what you are doing, just be sure to avoid complete crowd herding, squashing and reduce que times but sticking to a well structured and feasbile timechart. Showmasters want feedback right? Another possible way of improving and its not to be underestimated is to re-design and develop the websites. They are completely old school in design and is not taking advantage of newsletter campaigns etc... to do internet marketting. I agree with Psychosis - my number was 514 on Saturday (I arrived at 9.10) and saw LN about 2.30-3ish. Some people do sigs, some want photos, some may want both. You cannot hinder one lot of people for the others. I didn't mind waiting as they deserve their time with him just as much as any of us. BTW, Showmasters didn't ask you to queue for 3hrs before the event - that was your choice - I didn't do it and I met him as I'm sure did many others. If you were queuing, then you take the risk with the weather and plan for it as much as possible. I think the crew do a fantastic job, they take onboard the constructive comments and are evidently already working on it. Roll on MK 2010 which should be even better I say. I stated that they should be kept in check and not go over the time spot they had been allocated. Also to explain the situation I had handed over my money and did have to wait in the que 2m away from where Mr Nimoy sits before he could return. We waited an hour man. Showmasters should have held off ques, rather than just take the money and squeeze them into the "choose your photo" section until Leonard returned. Although its good to be able to get autographs and it does make a change to a boring weekend I do have some problems with the whole setup... not just the collectormania but also the london comic con etc... Not only did me and my friend get to the stadium to queue for Nimoy at 7. Waiting 3 hours in cold...it took us until 2p.m. to see the guy. You queued at 7? Blimey thats a bit early when the event didn't officially open until 10. Jason did let us in earlier then that due to the rain. I joined the queue for Leonards tickets at 9 and was only number 80. I can't recall exactly when I saw him but it was before 12.30 (Tbh I think it was before his photoshoot which was at 11). I am guessing you were tied up doing other things as there was plenty of opportunity to see him prior to 2? I would imagine the photshoot timetables are based on the online shops sales leading up to the event plus a best guess for how many will be sold on the day (which can't be predicted exactly).
