question about Friday night party

The party is castaway/doctor themed, right? Is this after the cocktail party?

 

My question is: Do we go to the cocktail party dressed for drinks, or dressed for the party theme - and - are they two seperate parties.

 

Has this been discussed?

I think the cocktail party is before the fancy dress party, but there's no (or very little) time to get changed

 

You go to the cocktail party dressed up, well that's what I'm doing and then just wearing my cocktail dress to the fancy dress party. *sigh*

 

Yep they are seperate parties.

If you're staying in the con hotel, there should be enough time to go get changed and be back for the party just late enough to make an entrance :)

You don't have to be at the main party the very second the doors open. Do you usually queue up at the doors of a nightclub or a friend's party?

That's what I figured. Run up to the room and change between parties.

It would be nice to get a planning for the event. Like approxiamtive hours to tend to the ceremony etc etc.
