New Dr Who - What do you think?

I thought it might be interesting to see what people think of the NEW Dr Who series so far.

I can see the parts that are written for the kids - the slapstick stuff but all in all very good so far - I think DALEK will be one of the season highlights!

I'm loving it, shame Chris Eccleston is only making one series, really like him as the Doctor. But all good things must come to an end *very sad*

Think it's OK but I would have really loved to see hime regnerate form Paul McGann. Gutted about that!!!

I have really enjoyed it as a long term fan, and I went on about it for ages so most of my friends watched on my persuasion. They have all enjoyed it too. My only dislike was episode 2. Not too much substance to it and it was just a showcase for the special effects team. Great to see but would have prefered it more spread out over the season.

This really annoyed me as well. I think the story lines are OK, but it comes across as if it has been made with a young audience in mind. Also Dr Who is known for its cheap and awful special effects and costumes, so in some ways i kind of dont like the expensive special effects used in this series.
