nightprowler
From IESB.................... At the premiere of his lastest film, After the Sunset, Pierce Brosnan was kind enough to talk to us about the future of his alter ego James Bond. Back in October, Brosnan was reportedly quoted saying that his time spent as the suave charming agent was, "over, it's over, it's absolutely over." Rumors have been flying regarding which strapping young Hollywood lad would continue the Bond name. Collin Farrell has been mentioned among others. What does Mr. Bond think about Mr. Farrell being his successor? And the interview can be found at.............. http://www.iesb.net/video/brosnaninterview.php Edited November 7, 2004 by nightprowler
nightprowler
Also this from Movie hole.................... Julian McMahon passes on 007Posted on Sun, 7-Nov-2004 007 won't be Charmed. Or Fantastic. Or Nip/Tuck-ed. In Fiona Byrne's latest column for the Sunday Herald Sun, she reveals that Julian McMahon was indeed offered the role of 007, but has had to pass. McMahon's mother, Lady Sonia McMahon, spoke openly to guests at the Melbourne Cup's Moet & Chandon marquee this week, and revealed that her boy had indeed "been sounded out about taking on the role. Unfortunately, he had to decline the offer, having recently signed a long-term deal with his hit TV drama series Nip/Tuck". Sounds like Hugh Jackman might be about to be made an offer.
