I only went on Saturday. Joined the queue outside just before 08:00 and was in the building by 09:15. I met everyone that I wanted to thanks to diamond passes for Pom and Varada. Another 8 Star Wars guests. All lovely, although Pom didn’t seem to be enjoying herself.
However, I did not enjoy the experience. Saturday was just far too crowded and the layout was exacerbating the problem. I was relieved to finally get away at 15:30. Queuing outside meant the bag checks slowed the entry process, Faye Marsay should have been VQ from the start, the diamond pass queue was disorganised (initially) and the photoshoots had too many people blocking access while waiting for their batch to be called, partly because they wouldn’t have heard anything from farther away.-

Aiming for 3 photoshoots and 9-12 autographs on Saturday. If I have to come back on Sunday to finish off, I’ll add in the TNG duo photoshoot.

Danny Glover fixed my clash for me. The Lethal Weapon duo photoshoot bumped Pom’s photoshoot until after the Andor duo photoshoot. Now we await the last minute cancellations.

Photoshoots A and B are usually pretty close together, right? I’ve got a slight clash on the Saturday, but a diamond pass for the earlier start, so it should be doable. Right?

Oddly, this is shaping up to be my best LFCC in years. Guest list in double figures, more than one diamond pass for the first time ever, eyeing up a couple of duo photoshoots and I’ve even ordered a commission from one of the comic artists. I’m starting to wonder if I might need to come back on the Sunday to finish off.

I’m hoping that SM have come up with an upgrade option for DP photoshoots. A solo with Varada is of little interest to me, but a duo with Faye is a different matter entirely.

Saturday entry ticket and diamond passes for Pom & Varada all purchased. There’s about 5 other Star Wars guests on my autograph list and I’m eyeing up a couple of photoshoots but I might wait for the schedule to be announced before committing to those.
