Well I was only able to be there for fri and sat and the sat was really good too...i shall always cherish the sight of the dalek chorus singing Amarillo lol...all the guests on Sat were lovely and the whole crew (especially Jodie (hope the foots better) and Troy and little Luke ...oh and I had better say Christa n Megan..) are absolutely brilliant and helped make the weekend really enjoyable...I spent most of the day sat over in the Who enclosure...and they are a lovely bunch but most especially Mark n Matthew...and of course...The Master....(did he manage to invade Paul McGann thru the undergrowth I wonder..) more of the same next time please...I have a yearning to sit in a Dalek myself lol

Hi guys my mate has a room at the Holiday Inn for the Friday nite...and has room for one to share..sorry male only(he is shy!! though I bet that wouldn't be for long if any nice ladies did ask!!) Well that certainly started something well all I can say is that I wasn't hinting for SM to specifically start a convention down here in the West Country(though cream teas would be an incentive in itself!) but there is absolutely NOTHING down here..at all..apart from a bit of surfing and a couple of boats! But that doesn't mean EVERYTHING has to be focussed on the main cities ie London, Birmingham etc..The whole western side of Britain seems to miss out a bit on these brill events and it doesn't seem fair...anyway..off me soapbox on that particular subject..it doesn't REALLY matter whether the guests are A,B or Z list..as long as we get something for everyone..yes 2 guests per film/phenomenon etc does seem fair but we have been very lucky the last two C's with LOTR guests..and it wouldn't be right to deny other film buffs the chance to meet their heroes..I just thought it very selfish of the person who believed ALL 'A' list guests should stay at the London meets...I for one am looking forward to meeting the many loons and friends I met up at C4 and C5...as well as getting a couple of autographs..thats what the whole experience should be...ACCESSIBLE AND FUN! Keep up the good work Showmasters...and I'll bring u up some clotted cream! PPS If I am allowed to have a wish list...I would actually like a couple more Buffy actors and one or two Harry Potter, for me to get for my children! Anyway..lets hope it's not long before SM put us all out of our misery!

and I used to live just down the road from MK I now live 6 hours journey away..the NEC may be a better venue after all!

Thank u Nell..I'm glad I'm not the only one..I am a bit incensed by the whole suggestion that the guests go to LFCC not everyone can afford to go to every meet...some of us have everyday lives which demand bills to be paid and children to be fed..MK is a twice yearly luxury I treat myself to away from being a disabled mum..take that away..and what am I left with!

Well to put my twopence worth in I live in deepest darkest south Devon and unlike some diehard fans and being a disabled mum I can only travel up to conventions etc twice a year due to high costs of travel , accommodation etc.. not everyone can afford to go to LFCC and Collectormanias and so forth...being a lowly member of 'joe public' most of the time and only a part time fan I do get upset when fans who can go to every convention going seem to want the chance to meet actors to themselves...some of us are not just jumping on certain film bandwagons and love the chance to meet their heroes...Milton Keynes used to be 20 mins from my old address...and is now 6 hours away..and unless showmasters or anyone else finally realise there is life down here in the West Country I will carry on travelling twice a year to MK in the hope that it will stay as accessible and fun as it always has been in the past

Thank you to ALL the LOTR guys who came and made this C4 SOOOOOOOO memorable...To Lawrence and Sala..the best double act going who constantly had us in stitches with their goofing around(I still ache) To Brent for being a lovely sweet person..and I promise you WILL get some fan mail LOL..We promises yesssssssssssss...To Andy for being a constantly superb guy...I am still shaking at the fact I got to hug Sean, Lij and Dom...I will never wash again...well then again....Dom...look after that little doggy...Jess sends her love...and Lij...don't pig all the clotted cream ,save some for the others LOL...and thank you again for what you have done for my son.... But most of all THANK YOU to Jason and the crew who AGAIN exceeded all expectations..it must have been so tough and you do such a wonderful job...it makes the 600 mile round trip worth while...HI TO EVERYONE I met up there...Rebecca and Kate(don't wash that jumper now) and all the fellow Billy loons... This is just too much....I still haven't got over C3 and Billy ..how on earth am I supposed to cope this time...Methinks Milton Keynes is gonna be completely overrun this time..I got there for 4am last time just for Billy(yes I was the sad case) guess this means I'm gonna have to get there around Monday 29th just in case LOL..thank you showmasters..this makes the 600 mile round trip even more worthwhile ....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
