  2. Just a quick thank-you to Jason here! I avoided the Hub 3 as it was at the Hilton and I am not a fan of theirs so I will be back for #4 and #5 now you have moved the convention 'back home!' I don't know why you say that, I much prefer The Hilton - its nearer for me and the staff are much nicer. The Hiltpm is closer for me to and i went to the hub 3 when it was ther. I much prefer the park inn as everything is at 1 level (i am a wheelchair user), everything is closer together and easier to get to and i found the staff very helpful. only problem was the lifts which hopefully will be fixed by october (fingers crossed).

  4. Eve told us that she would love to do the hub 5 if she was invited and told us to start a petition to get her there. So please can everyone comment and lets try to get her invited.
  5. I just thought it would be a cool idea to get a lanyard with the torchwood logo on it. Even if these were a buy seperate option. I think people would buy them n therefore getting more money for Massive Events and future conventions. But as others have said if it's a choice between lanyards or an extra guest then it aid be the extra guest every time. Please consider the lanyards thou. I am happy to buy and bring my own but one with the torchwood logo would be ace. It could even be a gift in the gold pass goodie bag. Just an idea.
  6. at one point, when i was in a photo shoot queue, they put a dvd on, it got to the tw menu, but then they switched it off after it had been on the menu for like 2 mins.... Yeah I saw that, I was shouting out "PUT FRAGEMENTS ON!" lol yeah, lol , it was the disc with adrift, fragments, and exit wounds on. me and my friend thought they were gunna play an episode, but they didn't, they switched it back off, which reli confused me and my friend..... lol Yeah it was "from out of the rain" we watched. It was on the Saturday after the signings and photo shoots but before the talks. Was like over the lunch hour period while they set up the hall for the talks. A group of peeps gathered round all sat on the floor watching it. They played "From Out of the Rain" for a little while. I think it was more for organisation of the party/freak show/etc, rather than for our entertainment.

I wasnt at the hub but did attend the hub 2. so i have met gareth, eve and burn. i am going to the hub 3 and so will meet john and so Naoko would be fantastic so i could say i've met them all. also she is the last signature i need on my canvas. I have heard comments about how sweet she is so i'd love to meet her.
  8. At the hub 2 on the saturday someone put torchwood on a tv in the room outside the hall. we all sat watching it n having discussions about it. was fun. I thought this was a brilliant idea and maybe you could do it again at the hub 3 on all 3 of the days. Thank you

  10. You REALLY REALLY don't want to know the amount of "conversations" there have been in the SM/ME office over whether is should be separate or on the back of the booklet. There are arguments for both. Some like one and others like the other, it's a real swings and round-a-bouts thing. It needs to be photo paper or it makes them too easy to fake. If you think about it, a double sided autograph/photo shoot ticket at a regular event with 6 guests would be worth around £130 (5x£10 autos, 1x£15 auto, 5x£10 photos, 1x£15 photo). We need them to be hard to fake. That makes sense.....thank you for explaining

  13. yeah i agree, carrying the booklet around was a pain. a seperate sheet or something would be better. thats why i suggested extra plastic cards to go on the chain. then they are easy to access at all times and less likely to get lost. But I do understand that this can make things mor expensive............. how about just a double sided piece of card thats easier to carry around? Does it have to be photo paper? that will make things more expensive.
  14. Yeah I agree, That just give them to the gold passes and selling to others would be great. I'd buy one. I'd even pay up2 a fiver for one as it would be a really cool item. Again, not trying to cause problems and i wud def prefer the extra guest but again the more you buy the cheaper they become per lanyard. Thanks for listening to the idea thou.

For the hub 3 is there any chance you can change the signing and photo check off lists onto a card like the passes that you can wear around your neck or on your lanyard as having to keep getting the 2 things out of your folder/bag every time was a pain and people were dropping them. If you used a pass type thing with the photo check list on one side and signing check list on the other and they can mark them off in the same way as they did at the hub 2 but with a permenant marker. This would be easier to keep handy for everyone. Does this make sense and does anyone agree this would be a good idea?

Was thinking that it would be cool at the hub 3 if we could get a lanyard with our passes on instead of a chain. a black lanyard with torchwood on or even the torchwood logo would be so cool. even if these are only an extra for the gold passes. Please consider it. The chains we had at the hub 2 kept snapping open, A lanyard would be more solid. Thank you
