The room was beautiful, stunning in fact. The human part of me wanted to glance at everything in awe, wanting to take everything in, and keep it forever; and the vampire part of me knew I would anyway. The never-ending aisle was littered with flowers, and the walls were lined with thick cream curtains, everything was just as I’d hoped for. My mum stood at the end of the altar, dressed head to toe in dark blue, and I knew why. My Dad had always loved this colour on my mum, and so she clung to it, even though she always looked beautiful, this colour made her feel secure. My Dad gripped my arm tightly as the music started. I’d wanted my Dad to play the wedding march himself, but stubborn as always, he had insisted on playing the traditional role in my marriage, and giving me away. For that reason, my Aunt Rosalie sat at the piano. For the first time, I let my eyes drift down the aisle, which had every surface decorated lavishly with white roses. At the edge of the last wooden bench, I saw the man I had chosen to spend the rest of my life with. Jacob. We had been destined for each other from the start, so my mother had told me; he had been meant for me. I didn’t object; he was perfect for me in everyway. I’d seen the way that Sam was with Emily, and Quil with Claire; we were going to be so happy together, and I had no inhibitions. I had reached the end of the aisle now, and my mother stood there, with invisible tears trickling down her stunning, pale face; had she been able to cry, she would have done. My eyes glistened too, but it wasn’t like I would never see her again, I would just be married next time. I turned to my father, who now had hold of my hand, and had the same expression of sadness mixed with gladness stretched across his face. He passed my hand from his cool one into the warm hand of Jacob, the hand that was now mine to hold forever. He pulled me gently towards the vicar, and a huge smile broke over my face. I couldn’t control myself; I was crying fully now, tears streaming down my face, due to my human half. I didn’t care; nothing was worth missing this, not even an embarrassing amount of salt water staining my face. We said our vows, and turned to each other. I looked at his deep russet face, and smiled. He was truly beautiful, even if he wasn’t of my kind. His huge, deep brown eyes, melted into mine, and finally, the waiting was over. We were married. He kissed me, and the crowd cheered, after all those years of torment, of being mentally developed, and unable to express myself properly, I had finally got what I wanted. I was now Renesmee Black.
