Premier Travel Lodge is like £28 per person per night, so not that different really.....however, if you have a car they do not charge for parking like most city centre Manchester hotels and you have to pay for breakfast on top too (£6) - swings and roundabouts hey..... 912302[/snapback] I suppose paying £35 pppn in Manchester isn't as bad as I'd expected. However, I have now heard that the Princess is apparently full. Someone has now suggested the Ibis Hotel. Dawn 913626[/snapback] The Ibis is ok - but they only do double rooms - they dont do twins - so if you are sharing with a friend hope that your friendship is strong!

Hi ya! Yes, there are about 5 of us staying here from the Force.net on the Saturday night. Its a great deal because it is free parking too for hotel residents. Maybe see you around....you wont miss us - we are all going dressed as Jedi!

...we have moved now to the Premier Travel Inn - the Ibis only provided double beds and for same sex sharers that could be a bit dicy.... Anyone holing up there over the weekend? They also have FREE parking (no NCP charges like the Ibis)

wow - our reputation proceeds us!? we are actually a lot more level headed these days and a lot of the 'stranger' people have gone their own ways...we are (mostly) staying at the Ibis on the Sat - looking for somewhere where a group of us could eat and then a good decent pub for after (not frequented by brawling townies!). we are a really mixed group of people who like allsorts - of course with SW being the central theme - we love a good laugh, but know where fun starts and ends...reputation saved!?

Hi! A whole group of people from the Force.net boards are meeting up for this event on the Saturday night...anything else going on or do you wanna join/start the party? Dont worry - we are all into pretty much everything - not just Star Wars - from HP to LOTR, Matrix, Lost, Dr Who, Buffy, Narnia and Father Ted to mention but a few - guess you get the gist! We seem to be gathering at the Ibis right now mostly....

...this is beginning to sound quite fun! Harry Potter's! CSI's! Jedi's! So wheres the 'traditional' party gonna be at for the Sat night then? There are a load of us Star Wars types staying over! I checked the other thread, but not a lot of info....?
