Hi all I'm starting this thread like I did for last ET and please don't think I'm trying to spoil your fun this is a request to make it better for everyone. Some people don't realise that what you think might be fun might spoil it for others. E.g screaming really loud it's hurts other peoples ears. This means others can then not hear the talks. Please don't bug the guests a lot of the time guests have left the parties because they got crowded. Also by spending the whole time with them means others can not talk to them. Please remember that you may know a lot about the guests but they propably have never met you or if they have they might not remember you they will have met a lot of fans before. If you to forward you will scare them and they might not want to come to events again. Pushing in a lot of people think it's ok to save seats for their friends or to move into the gold area. Remember other people have spent a lot of money getting their tickets some even sat up all night to get the best. Just think how upset you would be if someone pushed in front of you who has spent over £100 more on a ticket than you. All these kind of thoughts for others will help make it better for everyone.

No it's not like we ever bought a 4th bottle of wine and giggled as we nearly fell down the stairs to get down to the toilets is it. We are like totally sane and never ever drink and I would honestly never swear or talk about rude things.

Yeah she is as long as she can get off work early she's got her train booked but work are being silly with her and she might have to get a later train. I think she's signed up on the forum but she rarely comes on. It's mainly only when she knows a guest has been accounced.

I know you will be fine we all get a bit like that but when it gets to the last week we wonder why we worried at all.

I understand your points, I really do. But you have to see it from our point of views. Those of us who already had the books and paid for them.. we had to paid more to ship them to our own countries. So it's not like we're getting them 'free' or whatever. It's just unbelievably frustrating to us. Most of the people going haven't even heard of her or read her books.. so they would buy the books in the dealers' room, anyway. It's unfair that we, who have bought and read the books years beforehand, have to pay for books we already have. Along with the pay for the event, pay for the hotel, pay for flights, pay for food and then pay for extra things at the con. It's just a little unfair in our view. I understand the conditions and I'm going to find somehow to pay for a book I already have. But it doesn't make it any less unfair. thank you *hugs* couldn't have said it any better :) Guys did you not read the part where I said people are offering to help you out so you don't have to buy the book again.

This works better than most book signings I went to one where they would not personalist the book even though I bought 4 books and was in the first 30 people there. I went to another books signing where they would only sign 1 book and had to be bought at that store. Another book signing where I was allowed only the book signed and only 1 other thing not bought at that store. We are so lucky to have this extra thing and their are fans offering to help others out as well and it seems the people looking down on this aren't even bothering to see that other people are offering to help out they just want to complain and get everything for free. This is in the dealers room the publisher will have paid for a stall so this is in a way a book stall signing not a con signing which is totally different. The publisher only makes money by selling the books meaning Richelle will only get invited to do signings if the publisher is making enough money to sell her books and the whole thing is for promotion not just for her fans it's to encourage others to read her books. So what there are not all

but then I'd be paying £6 for something I don't have (her autograph), now I'll be paying for something I already have, it's pointless... Amen, sister, AMEN! And I honestly don't know why we're the bad guys here all of the sudden... I just don't have the friggin money... for £6 I could buy a decent meal on one of the days... but I don't even have that... every time we come over for ET we've already paid SO much for everything that we live on the hotel's breakfast and pot noodles (or McDonalds fries) for the whole freaking weekend (and the euro doesn't exchange nicely) and to people who have said that we're never pleased or see a downside in everything... so not true! I personally was VERY pleased when I saw this announcement yesterday... it was the happiest moment of 2010 so far... but I just.don't.have.the.money... so, of course it has a downside for me! And it was nice for everyone to offer to get my book signed for me but it's not the same! urg! I give up! -.- Can I ask how many book signing (of any author) and how many other signings and con's you've been to.

I don't see what the problem in buying 1 book to get all the rest of your books signed. Richelle is doing this to promte her work so of course the point is to sell her books. Just by looking at this thread shows how many people now want to read her books so it's already started to do it's job. I'm a fan and I think everyone needs to calm down a bit and stop getting so upset about it all. Loads of people have put suggestions ahead for people who have her books already to get things signed e.g buy 1 book bring your other ones to get signed as well then sell the book you get signed. I don't think this is a hard thing to do or unfair what book is going to cost you about £7 and then you get all your books signed and you get to met Richelle I think that's pretty awesome. BTW I have most of her books apart from the 2 ones due for uk release and even if I had everyone I still would not mind buy another 1 or 2.

Just wanted to know how is the signing going to be worked out. I really don't fancy having to get up really early to wait about. Are you going by badge numbers?
