yes.there.was It was there at 11.15 on the Sunday, when my friends and I found out ALL the JM tickets had gone. It was on the small white card, where it said they were up to ticket number 350. It said 'no photo's' and below it 'no personalisations' There was no sign where the numbers were put up, and believe me I spent many hours staring at that board! Maybe it was there at 11.15 but it came down shortly after, but I have no doubt it wasn't there when I was! The sign saying 'no photos' was near to James and very clear, so why not put the 'no personalizations' sign there too? Just another example of extremely poor organization.

I never said anything about there not being a sign about photos, and in any case asking crew members to support your theory is a worthless exercise! There was no sign about personalizations and that is the end of the matter. I only mentioned it once briefly and you all get so uptight cos someone thinks you're less than perfect! Get a life!

LOL 121 people have voted - 84 of them obviously SM crew or friends which is to be expected when this board is so utterly biased towards them, but even so we still have 37 people out of the 121 who think the crew were bad or very bad, which is a pretty significant percentage. Put the vote to everyone who attended and I reckon the number of dissatisfied punters would run into thousands.

Is everyone on here on drugs or 5 years old? Wake up! Companies like SM put people on here to make it look good, the same as they put people in talks to ask nice questions. You lot are so naive! It's SO hard to find free parking where I live! And finally, I clearly saw a sign by the James Marsters queue (on Sunday) saying no photos...sorry! Where did I say there was no 'no photos' sign???? Hate to say it, but a lot of SM crew are people from this forum. If you didn't like how they treated you, find out who they were and complain to their faces on here. They're usually the people who are obviously keeping in with the DavidB groupie crowd by continually shouting from the rooftops about the virtues and brilliance of Showmasters. Haha well said!

Again, ignornant thicko! I didn't complain about any of the things you say I did, you are obviously jumping to that conclusion because you have had that complaint from many other people.

Your misconception is on par with your ignorance !!!! You taint the rest of the crew simply because you may have had a bad experience with 1 or 2 of us. I received NO complaints against myself at this event, and i suspect neither did a lot of people. And the reason you most likely were told off for anything by a crew member was because you probably did something or attempted to do something that shouldn't have been done. I watched how the crew were behaving on every stand and spoke to about 20 of them as well, and I wasn't rude to anyone on the day because I knewe it wouldn't get me anywhere. Nearly everyone I talked too and saw, which was a LOT, seemed happy. Shows how different people can have different perceptions of the same thing - maybe you were happy so you saw happiness all around you! I can't remember talking to anyone who was actually happy with what they were getting from the event, but I accept some star-struck teenagers probably thought it was the best thing ever. I am trying to be objective.

I think the main point here is the venue was just so crap! Had the stars sat down, no-one beyond row 2 would have seen them! The fat bloke with the mic didn't go back very far in his search for questions either! How many were 'plants' I wonder?

Which is all very applaudable and I appreciate the effort, but I'm sure you would be the first to acknowledge you don't all have the skills to organize such a large event. If volunteers are to be used they should be properly trained, and - more importantly - the event organizers should plan things to ensure the volunteers do not get faced with situations they can't handle. I have said it before but again - I'm not criticizing volunteers directly, rather the people at the top levels who make the serious money. No doubt they tell the volunteers how wonderful they are and what a success it has been, but you are being exploited and lied to! It's human nature to make most noise about things we're unhappy with, but if we don't do so then things ain't gonna improve! I just want to see an event where more people go home happy!

I gave my appreciation to the 2 people I met who deserved it. The rest of you should listen to what I and many others have to say - and probably many thousands who don't use this board - and accept that you could do better. You want my money, you have to provide a service. You failed, and you won't be getting any more of it!

You're right - I didn't know much about SM events. But I do now, and I can tell you this much - you all have no idea about what is good organisation, or a helpful attitude, or just about anything outside your own little world. I suppose we can't expect too much from a bunch of brainwashed kids. If you don't work for free, then you're not volunteers - ignorance showing through again. Plus, if you get paid then I feel justified in slagging you off. I certainly wouldn't employ you!
