In other showmasters events it is rare for tickets to sell out, but this is a different kind of event, so it is hard to say how things will be.

I hope she gets well soon. As for the photoshoot, unless it is both of them together, I am not interested in having one, so I would be looking for a full refund. Will refunds be made automatically, or would I have to contact someone? That sounds sensible. We could take the ticket to the booth on the day and ask for a refund or to swap it for something of equal value. I think I would personally prefer the refund to my account though.

No, you don't require a ticket for the auction, but everyone who goes to the talk is likely going to be at the auction, so you will probably be at the back or without a seat when you go.

I've signed up, and I'm itching to know what this is about. Please let it be the equivalent of the US's Star Trek Experience! I know it won't be, but one can always dream.

I know Gillian is a big guest, but in my experience, phootshoot tickets rarely sell out and they still have them available to buy on the day.

Am I right in thinking that the time of the photoshoots is not revealed until you actually get to the event? I have photoshoot tickets for Nichelle Nichols and the Lursa/Betor make-up shoot, and I was planning on getting to the event for 10am. I don't, however want to get there and then find out that the photoshoots took place at 9 or something. Does anyone know what time the photoshoots start, or more specifically, if these two photoshoots will take place after 10. I don't expect the times to be put up now, but is it possible for them to be posted nearer the time rather than only find out when we get there?

I agree with you on this. I was expecting her auto to be £35, so while it is more expensive than I expected, it has not put me off getting her autograph. I had hoped to get 3 autos from her, but it simply means that I might have to budget to one or two. There also a number of guests that I already have autos of from previous years, and although another would be nice, I would be willing to pass them over so that I can get Gillian's - especially since the other guests seem to make regular appearances and it unlikely I'll get the opportunity to meet Gillian again. I think Showmasters have made the right decision. Last yeah they did ask us what we would be willing to pay for big guests. Were we willing to pay a higher amount, or would we rather not have the guest at all. Personally, I'd rather have the guest, and have the choice of whether I buy a auto or not when the time comes. I think some people are just too critical of Showmasters and be more appreciative of the hard work they do to get these guests booked.

I'm glad they have arrived safely. I am guessing here but I suspect that the individual shoots will have their names on the tickets. No doubt others who have ordered the individuals can/will confirm that. I also ordered a ticket for a photoshoot with both of them. It arrived yesterday and the ticket said 'Klingon' not 'Klingons' too, so I assume that it is correct and for both of them.

Nuts, I'm going on the Sunday. Oh well.
