  1. I've been looking up tube times from Earls Court to Kensington Olympia and the first tube on the Saturday is at 7am which is okay but on the Sunday it's at 8am which worries me slightly :D

The queue is going to be monstrous by the time I get there.

Not sure where you got that from, I've just done a quick planner on the tube site and have trains from 5.56am, likewise on Sunday.

  2. I don't put them up simply because it would cost a fortune, even in cheap frames, and because I simply don't have room for them. Other than a couple of artworks I prefer my walls to be uncluttered. Also I really don't wantt hem to be damaged in the sunlight.

I keep them in a few easily accessable ring binders. Any time I want to see them or show them to people I can just pull them out.

  3. Oh dear, this wasn't a case of who did you buy is it? Did you happen to find yourself strolling along the Oxford Road in Reading when a strange overwhelming feeling overtook you, 10 minutes later you were stood outside with empty pockets and a feeling of general disgust and worthlessness?

So Peter has obv just bought a blow up doll. If he has- I've just got the embarrassment out the way for him. If he hasn't- whatever he is about to say won't be as bad as that... surely!! Can it?!

I know it's been answered so it's irrelivant now but there is something more embarrasing than a blow up doll - it could have been a blow up sheep!

  4. if you are paying EXTRA for the priveldge of it being posted out to you, most people wont expect to wait a week when they are paying for recorded/first class delivery which to be realistic should be within a couple of days.

I'm not argueing either but you will get them within a day or 2, once it's posted. You didn't pay to have it delivered within a couple of days of the event, you paid for packaging and to have it recorded so you get it safely. They would have had a lot to do after the event, so give it a few days. I'm sure they will arrive soon.

  5. I was lucky enough to buy signed dedicated 1st edition copies of her books (first 3 books I think) for my GF from the States, before the world went Twilight mad!! I'm now wondering exactly what theyre worth??

Well there is an unsigned 1st edition on ebay for sale at £600.

And a limited edition signed one at £140 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Stephanie-Meyer-BREA...%3A1%7C294%3A50

  6. When i gave my postage information all i was asked for was to write a description of myself on a form and hand it in. No one took a picture of me or assigned a number or anything. Will they really be able to send me my photo just on what i have written on the form because i wasn't asked for anything more than that.

Don't worry, last yoear I couldn't wait around and filled the form in and low and behold a few days later my pics arrived in the post.

They will match up the ones they can and then probably post any ones they can't on the site.

  7. *facepalm* I just realised it wasn't Friday that the Nimoy thing happened, it was Saturday. My other friend was there too.

I was there Friday and Saturday and did see the security guys escorting him around a couple of times. Although I didn't see anything as bad as what happened to you I did think they where over the top. I could appreciate it a bit more if they where having trouble with a fan or somthing but they never where. People didn't even see them approaching because they wheren't facing them and they got a hand on the back to move them over with load calls of "out of the way!"

A simple "excuse me" would have sufficed.
