Personally I try to pick up a sandwich etc. before the event (or in a quiet moment after getting VQ tickets) and stash them in my bag waiting for when I'm able to eat between photoshoots etc. :) I can't really afford the food in the venue.

shame it cant be some of the 3 second part actors from other films as opposed to "bigger" guests. i guess thats just the way things are though Please don't be rude about any of the guests. They all appeal to some people, and just because they're not someone you're interested in, it's not fair to wish they'd cancel instead. Other people would be disappointed then. please make sure the next event has an even spread of guests instead of nearly a 3rd of all the movie and tv guests all being from one franchise. just saying. anyway, i doubt there is much change of getting a replacement TWD guest, so at least i'll have a bit more money to spend on things on the stalls Cast reunions are AMAZING to big fans of the movie/s (Back to the Future is my favourite series). I can't imagine you'd be complaining if it was a reunion of your favourite movie series? Respect the fact it's those franchises special anniversarys etc. I have zero interest in Alien but so happy for my friends who love the franchise as they're getting the opportunity to meet their legends. Think outside your own interests, this is an amazing line up for lots of different people. I'm sure next year will have another amazing line up for different franchises too.

Any chance VQ tickets can be put aside for gold pass customers? Say you have 200 gold passes (no idea how many there are, just an example), start handing out the VQs at 201+ for the diamond guest, and give the smaller number tickets to anyone who presents a gold pass? That way not all gold pass members have to rush to get their VQ?

No, I didn't go to CMK in 2008. It was a great experience going to the taping in New York. Michael came up to the audience for several minutes during the break. He was really chatty and funny too. I didn't get the chance to have a photo taken with him, but getting the personalised auto was really special. I met a few other members of the cast, once the rest of the audience had left. Barry Bostwick was also really nice and happy to chat for a while. Ah that's so cool! What an amazing experience

That's not strictly true, I've seen a lot of people comment they wouldn't be able to afford this guest, but are excited to guess who it might be. I for one don't have 'spare' cash, but if it's someone I really want to meet I may be able to get a pass, by dipping into savings. May. Of course, we don't know price range at the moment.

Emilia Clarke would be an amazing guest but I really don't think she fits the criteria for this guest. Jason says it's a A Lister who's a household name. I don't think a majority non-GoT fans would know who she is (in fact I know some casual GoT fans who wouldn't know her name unless you pointed out who she plays haha). I don't know much of her signing history so I don't know about that, but I would hope if she does do cons she wouldn't do just one, so more people get the chance to meet her :3

I've always viewed a personalisation on an auto as a perk! Will always take it if offered, but completely understand if not, doesn't affect the experience of getting the auto for me :) if you really want to meet the guest then I think it shouldn't be a huge issue, the memory of getting it will be the same.

Sometimes guests can't personalise due to health reasons. James Marsters once broke his writing hand (I think he broke it? or just injured it) and so to personalise alongside his auto would leave him in considerable pain after the many people he'd be signing for. If this guest is of limited health (which may be the case as Jason said his/her activities are limited), it would likely be they wouldn't be able to personalise.

Yeah seems to be the only reason I think they'd release them at the same time, to grab people before they have a chance to consider it!

Alan Rickman would be my no. 1 dream, but I highly doubt it. He has done signing events before, and doesn't like to sign for anything HP related, which of course a convention would be rife with!

As with every guest announcement we will put tickets on sale live at the same time. jason Not knowing the price-range beforehand means a lot of us may not have the funds available if it is someone we wanna meet, and lose out trying to get hold of it while others are using their credit cards etc. :/ I get not wanting to say the price-range now to change speculation, but could it be possible that the tickets do not go up immediately with the announcement? It would also help site congestion I think, as if the forum crashes (as it has done with much less hyped guests), most people will check the ticket site to see who it is, meaning those who actually want to buy the tickets might not be able to if it keeps crashing!

It's better to know now than 2 seconds before the shop goes up, even if I could afford it, I'd need to sign into my bank and transfer, and doing that would take precious seconds away from obtaining a ticket :)

no there is not , some people do like to just go on about things and value and is a guest is a A lister or not , some people forget that these guests are all people and are on here reading from time to time so i am not going to feed these poster by doing that before we go live with who the guest is. We want to give you a heads up so you all are aware and ready , then on the night if its someone you want to meet and you feel the value works for you them you can buy a pass , if its not for you then you do not have to buy anything. We want to bring you Amazing guest , people that some of you have been asking for for many many years , over the last few years we have managed to get some of the legend from film and TV to come out and meet you all , this is what we do , we do it the best way we can and in a way that is fare and well managed , we listen and react and evolve and learn , thats all we can do , some of you have asked for more info or other things , there are reasons why things happen like they do, we know the best way to announce a new guest is in this manner and thats why we do it this way . I hope you see we do listen but we also have learnt a lot from running these events and getting guest to attend our events so you can get to meet them. This is one of the biggest and best guest we could bring to LFCC i hope you will all be please to meet them. Take care Jason As a student, knowing the price range in advance would be most beneficial. If tickets are to be released at the same time of announcement, a lot of people may miss out simply in time took transferring money etc. to buy it! It's in no way taking the excitement away from getting a great guest, but helping your loyal customers prepare if it's a dream guest for them.
