Sorry but if i had paid out nearly £200 i would be taking the p*** by now.... This seems to be happening to often....i have paid to go to Housebroken, so i hope that does not go the same way.

I am going to get shot down in flames for this....but how many Dr Who cons do we really need ? I mean..its great for the Who fans but they seem to be the ones that are catered for across UK while us in the west country have to travel miles to get to any cons at all. Ok so i am moaning a bit ..but this year , and last year actually i could not manage one con. They were either on bank holidays which is a no-no from partner or i am on holiday [as this year] or the cost of getting to a con and staying 1 or 2 nights is just too much. I really do not know how some of the people on these forums afford it. Just one other thing......do not shoot me....but have you thought about not using the hotel in Northampton any more. I am sure the no refund on rooms policy will put loads of people off....and i am sure there are many hotel across uk that would love your cons in them. Just general thoughts.....no offence meant.

I would be there...the last Trek con i went to was about 3 years ago and it was fantastic...we need another one in this country. All series, all films....

Well that put me in my place... It was only meant as a light hearted question.....and i would have been gunning for Simon Pegg and Karl Urban actually, and seeing there will be no more Eclipses ....nuff said. [i would vote for Fringe by the way.]

To be fair, just because their character has more screen time does not make them a more interesting person. At almost every single convention I've been to (except for Firefly ones) I've found that the headliners are not the people I enjoy most. Why? Is there somewhere where they guarantee you 6 guests that have never attended a convention before? Oh yes, that makes perfect sense. They're absolutely rich, you know? They want to hire out a hotel's conference facilities and lose that money, because, you know, having a flopping convention is just so fun. I can see why they'd not try. This is the reason that i stopped commenting or putting up posts. The poor chap..[if he is a bloke if not sorry].. has the right to make a comment without someone coming on and making catty and sarcastic remarks back. I totally agree with him. I am all for supporting events such as E2 but will not do so blindly....

Well..... I think that maybe SM have been holding out with the announcements until series 3 started because.....it will be season 3 people.....duh...da Just a thought.

I really hope it is as good as last time. I loved Christine at E1 and felt she was a star with so many good stories, but as much as i like Ando, and Mrs Bennet and how i do not like the character of Bob...[good acting from Stephen though] it does not inspire me. And i have my suspions about the next lot of guests and if i am right i would be sorely dissappointed. And i do not care what anyone puts here but i am sure that if no major Hero is guesting the con goers will be upset. ~Just my thoughts so please do not shoot me down...

Right...i have been putting off coming on the boards for so long and have just been reading all the posts. I would love to know who would pay at least [and this is a rough calculation] £240 to just hang out with some friends for a couple of evenings, and that does not include drinks. I did not buy a ticket at the end of E1 though i was tempted, and i am so glad i didn't. To me the parties are the added bonus, and do not get me wrong I had a blast last time, but surely the point of a con is to see guest, listen to talks etc. I would love to meet Jason but that is not enough....i do not have lots of spare cash and really need my moneys worth if i go to a con. I hope for all the girls and guys who have got tickets that SM pull a fantastic one out of the bag, but as for me.....I will not be there.

How about an ER con.....its been going since the year dot and there would be a million and one guests that could be asked... It could also be mixed with other hospital series like Greys, Kingdom Hospital, St Elsewhere, etc.... Just think of the party themes you could have...

OK...this has more than likely been answered, but frankly i do not have the time to read all the posts...but if i came with an under 12 year old could she have my photo sessions instead of me cuz i always look crap in them...?

Both please.......that way you may get Ben Bowder and Joe Flannigan....[in my dreams] This is one i really want to come to but why oh why Northampton. Its just such a bummer to get to. Spent hours in the car getting to Eclipse and this time i would want to bring offspring with me.....[Are we there yet]. Repeat a million times every 1/2 hour......

Decent....scary film. Shame i can not go.

You lucky people....he is one of the friendlyist and welcoming guests you could ever meet. He always has time for a chat and will happily have snaps taken with you. Its a big POO that i will not be able to go.....SULKS

Jason and everyone else at SM and Massive.....Chins up . You did the most fantastic job on Eclipse and i am sure Lockdown will be as good. I had to choose between Lost or Heroes cuz i could only afford one, but if i had the money...[and an understanding partner] i would have come to both. People who do not understanding filming will never get it. Schedules change all the time in the filming world and what was to be filmed in a weeks time may be changed to the next day...[i know ..i work in it]. And of course the writers strike did not help. I bet that if the Heroes con was happening in a few weeks time we would be having the same problems. If you are going to Lockdown enjoy it for what it is, not what it could have been..that way you will not be disappointed.

Hey Ben.....Fab piccys. It was great to meet you and your mates and ...boy ..we did have fun. I have to seriously think about E2. Its real bad timing for me as Swan knows but i am trying to hatch a plan. We met so many great people over the weekend which made it as fun as meeting all the guests........and i want to do it all again.
