I think it works to have John on there even if he’s not main credited he exists almost in this bubble of being a slightly more important name because he did have his own show within the series the same with Liz Sladden even if she was much more iconic than him, and less controversial, but my point being because of Torchwood he is bigger than the average companion, and he covers a lot of sets from 6 main series sets, 4 Torchwood series sets he does cover a ton of ground, which annoys me as I can’t afford to cover the lot of it

I did find it odd that it wasn’t included in any steelbook, that said I was again shocked it wasn’t included in series 13 which it should have been as opposed to breaking with the norm of including it, just because Chibnall didn’t want anything that didn’t include the Flux subtitle in the set, even the Steelbook spine says Flux not Series 13 which I know annoyed a lot of people. then again “Twice upon a time” wasn’t in a steelbook but they don’t like mixing Doctors so I guess it’s understandable but still maybe a standalone for that special would have been nice. as for a every 13 special? Can’t imagine that their would be much demand for it, especially as the ratings weren’t great, even if I do feel it was unnecessarily heavy handed because of Jodie being god forbid a woman, it’s amazing how some people can suspend their disbelief of an alien who can change their appearance but that appearance being a woman is somehow too much, but anyway I’m surprised we haven’t seen such a boxset in a while truth be told I mean we had odd compilation sets like the Regen set, the Christmas specials set even “time of the Doctor” for whatever reason also included the 3 previous Christmas specials, their were the Dalek and Cyberman sets which featured their episodes from Series 1-4, although I don’t recall anyone buying into them because they already owned the full series sets, so I think we’re over due such a set

I need photos with 4,5,8,9,12 & fugative myself, Bradley I’ve got a photo booked for a 1, and I have a photo with a 2 in the form of Frazer Hines
-
It’s surprising because Derek had one at another event a few months ago, but maybe that’s because it was a smaller venue and smaller number of attendees so who knows. but again Price not having one is weird, he was a Dalek, a Cyberman and a Sea Devil so why not give him a photo slot that would be ideal for Doctor who fans
-
I do remember someone asking if they could pull him off. but by all means I would love him to attend one more than anything, but I guess his work schedule is hectic as all hell so maybe he’s barely available for one
-
Whilst they weren’t a £10 guest this has prompted a thought in my mind as I would like to see the return of Michelle Greenidge at LFCC because I want a photo with her badly and again another big name for Series 14, as it happens once I either have Strange or Sethu they’ll be the first persons listed on my document for that set that has an Episode next to their role as they’re not regulars, I know Sethu is a regular in 15 but her 14 character is a different person even if related
-
Do need Martin again myself and a photo with her, as I do above all else need her on “The Power of the Doctor” as like I said im gonna be putting David Bradley on that cover (along with Richard Price and Mike Collins) so it’ll be a strong start, plus if £20 is going spare (on top of the £50 I already want spare for a third Barrowman) im tempted to put Katy on the set as well but she’s a name that can be obtained more easily and can be done at another time, which that said Bonnie Langford for November please Showmasters, I want her on the 60th Specials and “the Power of the Doctor”
-
As long as they change their rule about photos on that one, would have loved a photo with Price and Chafer, same if they booked Nick Evans who would cover 3 items at least even if photos like Fantom were £15 it would be great to have two Cybermen and a Dalek on the list. as for Evans he’d be on The Dalek Collection and then Both the standard and steelbooks of “The Power of the Daleks”
-
Very fine set, tbh many of Jodie’s team would be welcome, Bradley Walsh id say is top of my list for reasons obvious, but I’d still want everyone else, I have two Mandips but still more would be great, especially as I have 4 sets to which she still needs to sign, that said the curiosity I have is have you changed your mind in relation to Mr Barrowman and your series 12? He’s not going on my set this turn but still a curious question
-
As it is the only steelbooks im bringing are the 3 rare classic ones IE “The Power of the Daleks”, “Spearhead from space” and “Shada” all of which are noted for how bloody difficult they are to get signed the first doesn’t even have any actor on it, because Anneke hasn’t been at an event I’ve been to as of yet, but she is Prime for that set, or until I can attend the same event as Nick Evans. as Series 15 boxset would help significantly and would change around what one or two people are going on, plus add £45 to £90 onto the spend total

Speaking of price checking over his roles and whilst I’m already down for £60 for him I am tempted to now pack one of the digipacks from Series 3 and have him on there if I have a Spare £10 plus given he’s in “The Runaway Bride” that means he can go on a side that won’t demand too much space as it’s a single Albiet extended episode. having him and Derek Chafer is basically over the top temptation at this point as they’re both cheap guests which cover enough ground unto themselves which feels like entrapment at best, I’d appreciate more of these kinds of guests as long as at the same time I can afford it, makes me think about how much cheaper winter will be, which reminder come the Monday after the event I will be posting the 3 names already announced for that event who have done Who.
-
Well it makes me thankful that I do only have the standard as it means 1 episode for however many names on the set as opposed to 3 episodes with significantly more names covered by a Steelbook, which can be signed on the inside but is impractical at best, especially when for “the Power of the Doctor” you have 17 big names to place on the set and that’s just on screen actors let alone whomever else is on that. its an odd trade off, either have more signing space and take up more space on the shelf or have more reasonable shelf space but have to get 3 unrelated episodes on one set
-
It’s a curious case as to how it keeps happening if you ask me, especially as he can’t keep landing great roles
-
I’m trying to work out how to reduce the load off of my shoulder as well as how much I’ll need and reduce how much I need to carry each day so to speak, especially as I have 9 molded sets and the regen boxset which will do my shoulder in something fierce, why do some of them have to cover such ground. just realised I can reduce one of those sets as Kevin O’Brien can go on the Davros Collection boxset booklet not the box itself as he’s only an extra in two stories on the set so going on the set itself isn’t necessary as I’d prefer the more important names for that part of it, but the others can’t be reduced I’m just glad that Both Jamie Foreman and Ellen Thomas are both on the same Digipack so I don’t have to lug the whole of Series 2, which will no doubt jinx it and now we get someone from the other end of the series 2

So far i've not had to take anything off at this point in time but i can't imagine its going to stay that way, but at this point its mainly about getting what you can with what little you have.
-
I did see that and whilst its an impressive line up (And an appearance in a very controversial year of the Bill so i see) of appearances he doesn't grace us, he seems more of the Police Officer variety of roles and Doctor who doesn't have many of those do they.

Well from Hartnell and Troughton we have a total of 4 and 4 respectively, however one is for both in the form of Anneke wills and even then some people still argue if Benton is a companion or not, those who say no are wrong, so 7 companions of the 1960s remain, but still a solid number per Doctor. if you compare that to the Third Doctors era, all but Katy and John are gone, and whilst i've said i have all of the 3rd Doctor regulars (Sans Delgardo) on an item (At most 3 names on a singular) but it still remains one of those oddities that his era was struck, but i guess that could come down to Barry Letts and Terrance Dicks choosing actors who even by that point could have been a bit further along than their predecessors and their successors would choose hence so many have passed (And Laurie Webb).

she is by all accounts such a treasure makes sense how she keeps cropping up on the Blu Ray seasons shes not even in, and i'm happy shes on the "Spearhead from Space" blu ray as i can of course get her on the steelbook which is one of my two choices for her as its a rare steelbook and the value has jumped up again meaning that with the 4 names i have attached already my investment is paying off. the most i've had is a kiss, a hug and her grabbing my backside.
-
I can imagine that he was likely not one for such signings, and having had a look nothing Doctor who that was hand signed seems to be available just reproductions as apart of mass collections.
-
Some guests you have to wait for the hype to die down but i personally feel that after Ncuti i couldn't justify more than £300 for a diamond pass let alone a standalone autograph, this show would make you pay it.

Whilst not new Corey Johnson has switched days and thus is now attending Sunday instead of Saturday. whilst this compromise is great as we don't lose a guest any Saturday only guests are now left in the lurch.

Writing two Audios for Doctor who we have Ian Edginton writing for Big Finish with "Shield of the Jotunn" staring Colin Baker, and then wrote more directly for the BBC with the Torchwood Audio "Army of One" which is read by Kai Owen. Edginton is appearing on both Days and no price is available. I have ordered his big finish audio as i owned neither of his two works, so i hope he is free or at least cheap as at this time i cannot afford anymore large spends for this event, i also now need to shift over some 90 CDs over a singular rung each to get this new set on the shelf.
-
Lets start on our two new guests as we have Dylan Teague who with the briefest of involvement has written or drawn himself into Doctor who history as he worked as a storyboard artist on "Class" specifically its fourth episode "Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart" join Mike Collins as the second of that short lived spin offs Story Board Artists a nice two for one for those interested, meaning you can have Episodes 1,3,4&6-8 all covered by their storyboard artists. Teague is appearing both Days but i don't have a price at this time

Seems we have a few additions which will start in the next post but i want to be clear 4 names flagged up across the searches however two cannot be confirmed as being related, one has been ruled out completely as i managed to find a photo and they are certainly not the same man as Dan Mumford, who if it was the same man would cover a serious amount of ground, whilst John Charles i can't be so definitive at this point in time, but whilst i can neither confirm nor deny if its the same John Charles who worked on "Attack of the Cybermen", "The Happiness Patrol" & "Silver Nemesis" i'm leaning towards no as the IMDB Profile from the Wiki Page also listed another Credit from 1969 which whilst not unreasonable to assume he's an elder gentleman especially from his photo for the event, i found an interview which he refers to himself as having been 13 in 1973 meaning he'd have to be born in 1959/60, but IMDB has been wrong before, so i'd say Take a gamble bring the covers and ask, but beyond that i can't say anything of a definitive nature for him, but he was a props buyer not an artist.

Just thought even with the aforementioned Mike Mungarvin that number of what I can get him on would be madness and would add an extra £70 to the budget at least, maybe £80 because good lord that man covers a lot of ground, why did I only get him on 5 times the last time around.
