  1. can I have a few? I had a great time at my first ever LFCC, among my highlights are (which was many)

    • Seeing the joy in William Regal's eyes when I mentioned how much I loved his performance in the Las Vegas Showgirl match against Goldust
    • Michael Rosenbaum and Alicia Witt defacing each other's face on my Urban Legend picture.
    • Alexis Denisof knowing my home city (Hull), and then Alyson Hannigan in the queue next to me saying hello to me as she was getting up to go to lunch (this was before I met her in the afternoon)
    • meeting everyone I wanted to meet bar John Cleese and Bernard Cribbins - this not a complaint I had loads of guests I wanted to meet and to only miss out on these two was an achievement
    • talking with Missi Pyle about how underrated Josie and the Pussycats is.
    • Just how personable the big guests where the likes of Alyson Hannigan, Natalie Dormer and Kevin Smith among others all took interest in what I had to say

I had a great but tiring time, honestly the only thing I didn't like was the pushing to get a VQ first thing in the morning

  2. Thought it was excellent overall

Every guest I met was great

Gemma Whelan was lovely and laughed at my embarrassment of wanting a quote with a dirty word and me trying not to say it, Robert Patrick was clearly having a good time and all the guests I had questions for happily answered them.

I hope I can say this because I won't mention the name of a rival event, but at an event I recently was at, it was a bit of a farce, more queuing in lines to autographs (due to bad timekeeping among other reasons) what made me nervous that I wouldn't get to meet every guest I wanted to meet (which I did end up doing), but with the VQ system at CM and most guests working at a good speed, I got to meet everybody and was never worried about it, I think Julie Benz at around 2pm on the Saturday was the guest I met the latest.

I know LFCC is bigger and all that but it actually helped it feel less daunting for me.

Also I went with 2 people, 1 her first ever convention - because she really wanted to meet Michael Shanks - and she had a blast

  3. What about comic con cruise involving say the Amsterdam Comic Con

Say Saturday, attendees get on a boat you have a comic con on the ship, maybe a handful of guests signing

Sunday you arrive in Amsterdam where the attendees go to the event as well as having guests that have been took sign at that event too.

(then back on the boat and people get back Monday)
