Serious request as per last year!
Yeah sorry, I wasn't aware either!

But I did get Matt Smith 001

I have batch 10 for Christopher, 13 for Matt and 11 for Peter, would you consider these high batches? I would but I don't know LFCC well as it's of course my first show
I guess it depends how many have sold for each? Like as long as you have even a couple of batches behind of you for a couple of the shoots you'll do it easily. Like etmuse said, if you are really high in all three, just speak to staff. Unfortunatly the one hassle I can forsee, is a lot of people with managable clashes talking to the staff, which will make it harder for those with unmanagable clashes. Hopefully that doesn't happen

I've been thinking about this clash since the schedule came out (I've got DPs, but I was considering doing the PM shoots), and surely it's only really bad if you've got really high batches for each. Otherwise, just choose one, and then go to the other, and then go to the other. They're all pretty long shoots, so as long as nothing goes wrong, you should be easily ok? You won't really have to run from one end of the olympia to the other, and you shouldn't really run the risk of nearly missing one of the shoots (unless , like I said, you have high batch numbers for all). Maybe i'm missing something though, in which case forgive my ignorance.

How were the queues?
Easy for diamonds and 3 days, a bit of a wait if you want golds. Maybe 5-10 minutes extra?

Anyone got their passes? Just picked up all of mine

Tomorrow i'll be heading up to surrey, seeing old uni friends, collecting diamond passes and generally panicking that i've forgotten something

I left a group yesterday because the negativity just got too frustrating. I'm not one for living in an echo chamber, and i'd happily debate legitimate faults with a product/buisness/ method of operating. But in this particular instance, I feel like i'd rather just spend more time on here, speaking to people who are as excited as I am for the show, and who are (for the most part) actually fair when things go wrong.

I just got the one reminder. It's cute that Eventbrite think these dates haven't been etched into my mind since the moment they were announced. It's just all i've been thinking about this month

Ahh damn, I knew getting Zachary Levi would give me my first clash of the year (Friday AM). No bother though, i'll do Zachary Levi first thing, then move across and get Meat Loaf
-
Nearly there guys! I"m gonna celebrate ending my final day of work before the con, by going to see MI: Fallout later! I'll see the mustache that cost Warner Bros CGI department all credibility.

I’ll get 50 from each guest how’s that sound?
Well i've heard they'll only have enough space for 10 Peter Capaldi VQs. Some mysterious droid came along and bought all the diamond passes

R4's getting VQs for all! It's an lfcc initiation ritual, let the new kid pick up the VQs

There are nearly as many pages on this thread as the number of posts I have made in my 2 years on the forum....

That’s what I originally thought.
so just to clarify, are the Diamond Passes labelled as Friday, Saturday, Sunday then? In the past they’d all looked the same I thought.... in which case, if I ordered the pass and selected Friday, but then turned up on Sunday, how would they know that was wrong? (Not saying that’s what I’m going to do).
Im probably being really dense, so apologies.
They are labelled in respect to the photoshoot day. Either with a sticker, or printed on the pass.

If I can get a low enough vq that is
I know your feeling. I've never tried to get popular guests on VQ before this year ( relied on DPs from 2015 onwards, and before that just didn't meet big guests), and I hate the anticipation I think he'll be quite popular.

Zachary on Friday, Sam on Sunday (Fridays my quiet day) :)
Might see you in the queue!
I have no quiet days Sunday may look quieter, but my wife is also attending for that day (for the first time) and I'll want to make sure she enjoys it

I was literally saying to my wife yesterday that he likes to walk around this con as an attendee (well he's been spotted at least twice). Now he's a guest!

Second what everyone says here! Special shout out to Olympia Secuirty (at least I assume it was them in the jackets). They often get mentioned in sentences with negative connotations, because they don't always know the specifics of the event. But these guys/girls were really well informed, and were good at managing the queue.
