If SM suddenly announce a massively popular guest this could very well happen again. @Chubby, at the moment your friend is fine but it only takes one guest for their to be a rush on buying tickets so waiting until 2 days before to buy them could be a bit of a risk. the way sm said about this year being bigger than 2015 I thought they were on about a HUGE name but I think they were talking about the venue size lol but still time to go but I think the diamond guests have come to an end now

Dear SM, A friend of mine is planning on getting his early bird 2 days before the show ( I know don't ask) are the Saturday tickets close to selling out or is he going to be ok? from what I heard last year Saturday was a sell out

will sm have an Aliens photo on the day? ive noticed with the dr who guests that that's all there is. would love an aliens pic to go with the rest I have from sm

ive got a lot of books signed and ive noticed on some of the glossy covers they seem to fade even if its kept in the dark. ive got no idea why this has happened ( silver ink ) so now I get the inside covers done. ive not had problems since just make sure its 100% dry before you close or when you get home it looks like you have had a reverse auto done too lol

Another reason for that could simply be that they tried to find a way around this situation? I said it two pages ago, this is not the first reaction of this kind we had and I doubt it will be the last. When I got the e-mail I knew straight away that this would happen again. SM were very likely trying to avoid that. And regarding the heat... if heat is an issue you really need to stay away from the events. I have yet to attend one where the crowds did not break the air condition. the only sm event where ive had problems with heat is the London shows, 2 times at brighton, 2 times at Bournemouth, Exeter, 2 Manchester shows ive not had problems with heat at all. im not sure what ones you have been going to, but they cant be the ones on this list as they have not been over packed like lfcc was last year

ok so the issue that was found before the 2015 lfcc has only just been sorted? could this not of been made public last year or in the months leading up? the thought of having to line up again inside is worrying and no doubt will be extremely hot.

im going down that route now, ive got screen shots from here and facebook saying that they will be posted out, and i paid for the pass on the understanding that it would be posted to my home address, anything between now and a week before the event. i will be taking action on this, im just waiting to be banned from here now for being upset that the goal posts have been moved and were all supposed to just sit here and take it. i was in line for 1 hr 10 mins last year for a refund on a photoshoot that i missed and i can see this being one hell of a long line.

This is exactly what the Problem was last year. I am going to forward your comments. Maybe a Thursday pickup is doable seeing there is crew around for set up. But I don't think a Sending out choice will be implemented now. Deciding on this was a lenghthy process. I am sure this Option has been considered. i send around 1800 items a month special delivery and have never had a problem with them. im not able to drive the 2 hrs to collect before hand.

ok so lets get this right, we now have to queue up for a pass that helps us not have to queue up for the photos and autos lol. I take it im not the only one who would love a refund right now lol. I brought my pass on the understanding that it would be posted out to me, not that I would have to line up for another hour after being in a long line to start with. im happy to pay for it to be posted to me and should it go missing royal mail will refund the costs of the pass and id have to pick up on the day. ever since I paid for mine ive been told oh they will be posted anytime up until a week before the event. ok but now im told I have to pick it up, well im sorry this is not going to happen, i paid for mine on the understanding it would be posted! oh can i just ask when i asked about this on the facebook page i was blocked from posting?

can someone ask Jason if something can be sorted? ill be happy to pay £10.00 to have mine sent out wont cost more than 5 or 6 so a few quid for sm, or a blind box ect. I live in Bournemouth and cant pick up before hand as ive not got enough for the Saturday as yet it would really help if they will be an option to pay to have them posted out so on the day we can just line up, go in and have a good day and not have to worry about another line inside the venue

I think its a great idea! let us have the option to pay to have them posted out. id pay the amount hell id pay £10.00 to have it posted to me so sm make a little off it! I can see some agro over the 3 days then we will see a post, ok next year were making it even better lol

People with multiple passes wouldn't want to keep having to queue though. well if they can afford more than one pass they can afford to wait in the line

if I had know this from the start id not of bothered getting the diamond pass. I really wanted this year to be smooth as last year was a nightmare, and im already sitting here thinking how much of a stress this is going to be. hours wait in the line, THEN another long line inside for the pass and no doubt it will be a slow process. mite be an idea to have each diamond pass in a different line so theres not 500 of us Saturday morning in another long line. am I the only one who would use Royal Mail Recorded delivery service? or is it the costs of posting that seem to be an issue here? im happy to pay to have mine posted to me.

can I ask what guest you have that you got the email about?

I don't mind picking mine up at all, just don't fancy another long line after the line to get in as im hoping to get some low VQ tickets. ive not had an email yet saying anything so ill have to keep an eye out for that, it would however be good for the left hand to know what the right hand is doing.

Id like to have the final info on whats going on with the pass. can we all be told whats going on? ive paid £146.00 for my Ron diamond pass and it would be great if SM can just say weather its going to be sent to me OR if ill need to pick it up on the day. its only fair that we know whats going on, after we have paid out all that money. The postal service here in Dorset is not that great at all and unless its sent out at least 10 days before the show im not going to get it in time. I don't mind picking it up on the day I just want to know whats going on. there is lots of different ideas on what is going to happen but can we just have the final bit of news. many thanks Michael :)

this is going to be a great event. when sm said we will make it better than the 2015 show I really didn't think they would do it. but its looking really good all we need now is to find out if the diamond passes are going to be sent or if we pick them up, and the photo times and floor plans. depending on the photo times I mite buy the joint Saturday pics :)

same for me, im really worried about a major clash I cant afford a gold pass Yeah same :/ just have to plan it all with precision if we've got clashes would of had 7 if Matthew hadn't cancelled lol if there is a clash ( cant get worse than last year) ill have to decide who I want more at the time. im hoping they have worked out this year the big names with the smaller ones, and all on the same level lol I only had two shoots last year but I definitely agree they all need to be in same area will be so much better if their is clashes :) what happened last year did you have clashes then ? I got the money back in a gift card to use at another con, it was a nightmare running from one level to the other then back up then down again. it was evil. one guy who had trouble walking just gave up and stayed on the one level. the crew were ok ish about it but a few seemed to be on a power trip. im not going to buy any more right now as its asking for agro lol

im only going Saturday and got a Ron diamond pass, so just got a batch 1 pic wit kim on the Saturday :) very happy indeed. PLEASE no clash's this year lol or at least keep the photo areas together
