  1. Sorry to hijack this thread, but speaking of photo ID, would I need this to collect my weekend passes at registration?

I've been told we don't need photo ID, that the card I paid on will be fine to collect my registration pack.

  2. I really would like my photo taken with both Arwell and Danny, plus Steven and Sue of course, I'd be over the moon if any of these are added to the list. Still 3 weeks to go so I'm not giving up hope yet.

Plus someone told me that they emailed to ask what set the Platinum holders get their photo shoot on and was told it would be the Mycroft's office one, if this is the case I may treat myself to a Rupert Graves on 221b living room set one for my birthday on Friday, or if they have sold out by then I'll just go for just me on the set. I'd like to get it 100% confirmed first though because if it is the 221b set one I get with my package I'll stump up for Mark Gatiss on Mycroft's office.

  3. Well I didn't have long to wait for news, that was a nice email to wake up to this morning. Like I said in another thread I'd love a group shot on set or the Benedict one but I can't really justify the cost to myself and also I'm working till gone 7pm so they'll probably be all sold out by the time I get home.

Least with the screening and individual photo shoot on set costs I can add another £45 of value to my Platinum ticket. :D

  4. Also as a Platinum ticket holder I'm presuming I already have a ticket to the screening introduced by Benedict?

I'm working tomorrow till after 7pm so I'd have no chance of getting any of the tickets with Benedict on a set or a group shot set photo (not that I can really afford them, kind of helps me make my mind up that I'll forgo these :P )

  5. Never mind - we're all heading to the same place so meeting up shouldn't be a problem!

Yes, we're all already planning to meet up at the John Watson exhibition so am sure we'll see each other there.

We could have code words and everything ;)

I'll def be up for meeting on the Friday :) I'm staying at the Ibis across from the Excel and am due to get there about 3pm, so am looking to register between 4pm and 5pm and then I'll be around ready for the preview at 6pm :)

My itinerary is almost identical to evilfairie's, and I'm staying in the same place too, so I'll be doing the same things, and will be looking to go to the preview and get dinner before the party.

I have recently found out that there are two Ibis hotels next to the Excel, I'm staying at the Ibis Excel Styles the same as Ilovejim just in case your at the other one ThePinkLady.

  7. Yes, that is the trouble with only being able to get the one auto from Benedict. I'd love to get a pic of him signed but I really want to have my book signed by as many of the cast as possible so that's why I'm going with the book. :) I have yet to think what on earth I'll say to him :P

While we're confirming things, I'm deffo not Ville Valo (not that many or even any of you will know who he is) and I've just had a 'duh' thought on my second t-shirt and thought I'd wear the one I get in my goody bag if it fits (it may not, I decided to brave it and go for a size small)

I have a HIM inspired tattoo, their music helped me through a bad time...I can't wait to see people's fandom t-shirts. I have a Jim quote one for if I decide not to wear my costume both days and I am currently trying to sew a Moriarty inspired design for another t-shirt for the evening.

HIM are the major love of my life and have been for the last 12 years.. If I don't wear a Sherlock related shirt one of the days I'll probably be wearing a HIM shirt. :)

  10. A tiny selfish part of me hopes this is a one off as I couldn't afford to do this again. Would make spending well over £800 on a weekend away worth it if it really is a once in a lifetime thing.

  11. My sister bought me an Obsessive t-shirt for Christmas and I thought it may be safe to wear this on the Friday to travel/register in. I've got an

    Cumberbatch

    Disorder

I am Sherlocked shirt that I could wear on either of the actual show days apart from that, yeah, not really thought about the other day. I have a new t-shirt for the Saturday party ( mind palace related). That's about it.

  12. Yes, I guesstimated the cost of all the extra autos ( minusing the 5 gold assigned ones being the lesser guests @ £10 each, so £50) at roughly £200 , and added Benedict's at £50 (it's what I would be ok paying if he was available to buy on the day) plus the signed art print and t-shirt are things I would have bought as souvenirs at at least £50 and bingo, there is the £300 value to me. Plus the screening and getting priority access to the talks is invaluable :D

So justified it to myself this way and I'm more than happy :)
