Yes, going this Sunday, on my own.

Victoria to Earls Court with the District line on Saturday and Sunday won't be a problem. Also, tip for efficiency: if you're travelling from East or Central London (like Victoria), you should aim for the first carriage of the train when you get on; the first/second doors will let you alight right by the exit to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre. For those travelling from the west (Richmond, Ealing, Wimbledon branches), you should aim for the third door from the back of the last carriage.

I just had to open an account to thank you regular forum posters for being so nice to everyone asking questions on here - I'm sure there are other newbies like me who haven't a clue about what to do/where to go/what to bring/how much money to save up etc. who've had all their questions answered by lurking here for a bit. I wasn't sure about going and fretted for about three weeks whether to buy a ticket or not, so this forum really helped and if any of you were bothered about being asked the same question 14 times it didn't show. I'm going on my own because there are some hobbies my friends and I just don't share (also getting up early on a Sunday to queue isn't their cup of tea, apparently), and was a bit anxious as to whether it'd all be a bit overwhelming when I didn't know anyone. If there are more people like you there I think I'll be just fine.
